- When we hear the term Bardo, we often associate it with death and dying-the state between this life and the next. However, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche offers a thought-provoking explanation that broadens our understanding of the full meaning of Bardo, the intermediate state. Through a simple yet powerful meditation on a Buddha statue, Rinpoche illustrates how our minds constantly wander, or "trip," away from our focus-revealing that this too is a Bardo state.
