Fragmentation process me jab organisms mature ho jate hai tab hoti ha Lekin regeneration me kisi body part ka ya full body ka hota hai jaise star fish ko katne pe wo ek naya star fish banta hai aur lizard me agar uska limb ya tail hat jaye to uska regeneration hota hai.
Fragmentation me apne organism ka part kata toh jo ktaa hua part hai vo phir se ek well developed organism me bdl jaega jaisa phle the. Lekin regeneration me kata hua part aur jis well developed organism ko kata diya gya hai vo bhii phir se phle ki tarh ho jaega means to say dono phle ki tarh ho jaenge . For ex - human le lo agar apne apna kaan kata toh vo kaan phir se ek well developed body bna lega fragmentation .on the other hand agr hm regeneration me dekho toh kaan toh bnayaga hi hmara body bhi new kaan ko produce kar lega.
Mam budding process se hydra reproduce hota hai n agar hydra regeneration se reproduce hota hai to iske bhi body parts ko kahi se cut karenge to regenerate ho gayaga n to phir difference kya hai
Thank you for your comment! You are correct that Hydra reproduce both asexually (budding) and sexually (regeneration), however, they can only regenerate if their body parts are cut off. If their body parts are not cut off, then they can only reproduce asexually
Hi there! That's a great question. Regeneration is the process by which a living organism replaces lost or damaged parts to restore itself to its original state. Fragmentation is the process of breaking down a living organism into smaller parts that can grow into new organisms. I hope that helps!

MAM I HAVE A QUESTION IF ONE PART OF SPYROGYRA IS CUTTED DOWN AND FALLS ON LAND/ EARTH/ZAMEEN YOU SAID THAT IT WILL FORM NEW SPYROGYRA MAM HOW IT WILL FORM WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Hi there! Thank you for your question. Spirogyra is an algae that reproduces asexually by fragmentation. Fragmentation occurs when a piece of the Spirogyra breaks off and is able to reform its cells and grow into an independent organism. The process is quite simple and efficient, making it a great way for Spirogyra to reproduce in nature. We hope this answered your question!

In Regeneration, an organism regenerates or regrows the body parts which it had lost, whereas in Fragmentation, and organism divides itself into parts called fragments, and those fragments develop into a new organism.
Basically regeneration is an ability to fully develop into a new organism just from its body parts While, in fragmentation, naturally some organism breaks up into pieces and each piece develops into new organism.

I had a doubt that lizard is a example of regeneration then why the tail cut from its body doesn't grow into a new lizard?
Hota hai
In lizard tail there is not ability to change their form of cell ,that's why it not grow to form new lizard body.
Actually lizard is a complex body .
