Fun fact: funnels being lit up means that the lighting is better so YT doesn't compress it, and you can see the video better. Seems like that didn't seem to work considering the rest of the video didn't make it through your thick skull
@@TornadoHarry Tbh I actually like the funnels being lit up, it just looks nicer than it being left in the dark. It's a shame it wasn't actually part of the original design.
This is what a witness described how well lit Titanic was, much darker than what H&Glory did. The light of the portholes shined on the water, one of the officers stated because of that they were able to clearly see Titanic to see if there was any damage above waterline.
Very well done! The only thing i would change is the lighting during the final plunge, some survivors says that at that time in the sinking the lighting had a very noticeable red glow and gradually got weaker and weaker until the ship broke in half. There is also some testimonies that says that the second or third funnels fell with sparkles coming out of it.
@IloveCruiseShips1912 that's false. It would have not survive the drop when the ship broke.. it was weaker than the others since practically its a dummy and was not hooked by any actual ventilation system other than like the kitchens.. it was just pretty much attached on the top end
@@Thel2552 Infact, the funnel was not just for Aesthetic purposes but to vent smoke from places like the Kitchens. It was built much stronger than the other 3. The guy wires were for extra stability. For example, Olympic's guywires snapped numerous times in storms and non of the funnels ever threatened to collapse. The funnels were quite stable. It was water pressure that made them collapse though the third funnel fell as it was in the damaged area of the break.
@@Thel2552 The way the funnel fell was due to pressure. They don't fall on their own. Funnel 1 and 2 where in the water when the fell. Funnel 3 fell because its base was damaged in the break up, but funnel 4 didn't break up before after the ship completely went under.
As much as I like your work, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into it, but is there a chance to get rid of the "funnel lights"? I'm not sure if they were illuminated by the surrounding light sources THAT much, and as far as I know, there were no light sources with the sole purpose to illuminate the funnels during the nights.
Very nice animation! Though, my only issue is the far sides of the screen. The lighting is a lot brighter and it’s kind of distracting. Other than that, I loved this!
E pensar que naquela noite, não havia luz da lua, ou seja, as pessoas estavam completamente na escuridão, em meio ao oceano, com o navio afundando. 😱😱😱😱
The bulk of the people who didn't enter lifeboats, were extremely hesitant on actually entering them in the first place. Lifeboats were a last resort option if everything else failed. Also, lifeboats were supposed to be for ferrying people from a sinking ship to a rescue ship, and without a rescue ship nearby, people did not want to enter the boats. They figured the Titanic itself was the safest place to be
Crap video. The Titanic’s funnels were never lit up. James Cameron fooled you.

Stop hating on H&G crew magnificent work 1:18
@@jamesfracasse8178 How is saying it was darker during the night hating on H&G's work? I love their work.

This is really good. The lighting looks both beautiful and terrifying
The lighting is amazing and quite accurate to how it was that night ..
And how do you know what it looked like?
@@vstar7196 well the reports and survivors and crew explained how the night was …it was flat calm ocean and a moonless night so this shld b accurate

The 2nd funnel... and the 4th fell during the break
@@Thel2552 The 4th funnel likely never fell. It most likely broke off in the descent

The breakup looks amazing!
love the sounds and the animation
Bestie, I love the lighting. It's giving 1996 miniseries nostalgia
The 1996 miniseries is really underrated, in my opinion.
The last flash of the lights at 9:41 was probably not possible, but it looked cool. Like a final burst of power as the circuits were ripped apart.
You captured a deathly, almost sinister portrait of her final moments. Well done.

The funnel lights were not on the ship in real life, but they have been added for dramatic effect and viewing pleasure
Am I hearing the 'Oh no!' ambient loop from 'Titanic: Adventure out of Time' sinking cutscenes? 🤣
😂😂
well done!
11:40 That is the sound of a born baby crying.
In this video, you can hear people talking in the background from different angles of the ship and from different lifeboats.
4:37 Some dragging noises that loud might've scared the others on different lifeboats.
So underrated

That's something I can't control it's just the artifact from the render itself
Love it but on a sea of glass means on a sea of glass, not 2 inch ripples, glass is glass is glass
Ur not the only one guilty of it but im ready to say it for the internet to read
I'll remember to continue adding the rippled water
Small waves started during the sinking
Very well done!
This is awesome
wait so the plunge begins when the water reach the bridge?
