This album is an absolute classic and will be forever in history. We are lucky to live in this era where one of the greatest is still on top of all and owning it. Truly lucky.

This song has actually help me get out of a poisonous relationship and drug addiction to crack, 3 months officially sober off drugs and My life has completely changed anything is possible!! Em you are a legend ❤️ Edit: didn’t realise people would read this, I wrote this 2 and a bit years ago I am still sober and never looked back… thank you for you kind messages means a lot ❤️
Im a complete stranger but take these kind words... your doing great, keep it going and im glad your finally on your path to becoming a better you keep reminding yourself that everyday
I love how he just drops these slick ass doubles. Bro every bar in the song can be interpreted as a relationship with a female or his relationship with drugs. Darkness follows the same thing. The whole album is extremely calculated and trimmed nice and neat. I get so excited when Marshall drops new music. The discography of this man's work is astonishing. 🐐 [Final Copy]
One of my favourite songs, I completely understand and get, been through it more times than I wanted. Eminem, the great one. Music is like therapy, saved me so many time. pure brilliance.
The fucking double meanings are insane. "Trying to unscrew you." "Talk about eating out the palm of my hand." "You're so much of a handful." "Feel like I'm on top when I'm on you."

When Eminem said, *he got more hooks in him than swae lee* (which I know was a double entendre) He literally came with some fire hooks in this album ngl.....🔥🔥🔥
Anyone going through any kind of drug problems, I can relate to this so much. I’m an alcoholic at 33 I’ve had 2 seizures from withdrawals this year so far. It’s crazy how on point he is!
The second verse in this song is just one of the best verses of the modern eminem era, hands down top 5 at least. Out of this world flow and lyricism, top eminem performance.
this song hits different when you realise is not about someone,em was speaking about his relationship with drugs..at the final throwing the methadone in the wc he also talked about this in arose from revival also the flushing toilet
@@Odyssey636 but em does a lot of doubles and triple entendres in his music, another ex 25 to life from recovery it s about the rap game but it can also be about kim
Even tho this song is about addiction, me never being an addict, its much more relatable for me as a heart break song. Only difference in the hook for me is "I used to always have your back".
These songs just have something about them that no other artist can create. P.S. You create art, art that'll be around for centuries to come, they will study you one day
When I listen to Em, people think, "he's listening to the a top, iconic rapper who keeps it G" but in reality I'm listening to a top, iconic rapper who knows Men are human beings too and he speaks to their hearts an soul making them keep it G. Em ❤️
I listen to your music because of my older brother since I was 8 years old. Since I am from Germany I didn't understand it but loved the flow and the beat. Now I am 27 and you are still here creating the best music. You even make me think in doubles sometimes. You are a legend spitting the truth, always
if this song didnt exist, I might've not known about the dangers of "ambien" when I had it prescribed for dealing with sleep when I was trying to beat another addiction. this made me be very careful with that shit.
em is soo good at these double meaning songs man. seduction and 25 to life both sound like they're about a girl, every single line, but as revealed at the end, are actually about the rap game. this one's the same but except with drugs.
I'll never love again The way I loved you Did you find someone new? Are you doin' this with them? 'Cause I remember when Still remember when you was mine, yeah We were inseparable at one time, yeah You know my love for you was undying, yeah Used to always have my back
"Cause i remember when, I remember when you was mine (yeah) we were inseparable at one time (yeah) you know my love was undying (yeah) you used to always have my back" 💯 the words are so chill its crazy i hear the emotion of rawness
this is def one of my favorites from this album. Every line of this song can be interpreted as a love song for someone but at the same time interpreted as a love song for drugs in which it really is. but with the wordplay and double entendres Em does, it really works in this song the best. He did other songs using this same approach, talking about music; specifically Hip Hop. fucking genius right here.
Marshall be proud of yourself bro still gaining fans in your ladder years. I have listened to so many of your tracks and love the way you spit some is fire , some you already know! But God damn bro @ precisely 1:58 into this song you spit the hottest verse I may have ever heard. When that beat shifts you absolutely slaughtered it. This is where you need to stay!

This song is such an absolute masterpiece. I used to write crazy double and triple entendres, sometimes entire verses like that...used to rap and do shows and mixtapes and worked with some folks, whatever. I've got a story. And at one point I thought I was better than this guy. I was young and arrogant. Eminem at his age should not be able to do this. He's gotten better with his last two albums...how is that possible? He's gotten so good how can another artist even relate to his talent at this point. He's on an island of his own. To think of what he would have been like sober in his 20's and early 30's...but who cares. Now he has his testimony because of it, and we get this level of art as a result- what an incredible career arc the man has had. There will never be another Shady, man.
Yeah, he's number 1. If you look at his music objectively and ignore the bias of skin colour, age or anything else his talent is unmatched. Lyricism, cadence, bars, flow, rhyme schemes, double/triple entendres, stage presence, storytelling, vocal diction, literature. He is the best at all of them individually and put together
What does his age have to do with anything? He's not a professional athlete lol. And it's not like he's THAT old. His mind is sharp. He uses his brain...not his body.
@@sameenergy9414 breath control and oratory skills? And yes true but science tells us our brain DNA begins breaking down around age 30, so we literally lose raw brain power with age, though we gain experience based IQ and enhanced vocab etc. All that said, hip hop was always a young man's game. It's hard to even be in touch in your 30's and 40's, much less at age 49. You have to admit it is impressive for him to remain this relevant for this long.
Shoutouts to everyone suffering from addiction, you got this. I went to rehab and got sober I've recently relapsed. I feel shitty but I'm trying to get my shit back together.

Quite dangerous though, but my brain's in hypnosis
Such a wide range of emotions
Migraines, but why the fuck am I takin' these MOTRINs?
Ibuprofens, like a drop of rain in the ocean
And you're my fix on the days when I'm broken
But the shit's about to go sideways, I just know it
I'll never love again
The way I loved you
Did you find someone new?
Are you doin' this with them?
'Cause I remember when
Still remember when you was mine, yeah
We were inseparable at one time, yeah
You know my love for you was undying, yeah
You used to always have my back
So I spiral downwardly 'cause I'm too cowardly to leave you
Head is clouded in a fallacy, but in reality, somehow it seems like
When I lay me down to sleep I'm counting sheep, you're bound to creep
'Cause every time I turn around, you keep runnin' out on me
You're my Xanax and my Valium, I'm an addict you're a downer
You're my habit, it's like I found you in the cabinet
But it's like I can't uncap it 'cause it's childproof
A scoundrel and fiends how I feel around you
Awful, every time I lost you, felt like I had you in my pocket
Now I'm flippin' over the furniture, punchin' holes in the walls through
Everything that we've gone through
How many times you've fucked me
But the way it felt for me to be on top when I was on you
Swore my fealty, but word to G-O-D
I thought you loved me, but you tried to kill me, I'm getting off you
Quit callin' for me, hard proof's how I respond to
The Ambien and Tylenols too
Fuck all you
Fuckin' bitch
We're done
Ty
This song has actually help me get out of a poisonous relationship and drug addiction to crack, 3 months officially sober off drugs and My life has completely changed anything is possible!! Em you are a legend ❤️
Edit: didn’t realise people would read this, I wrote this 2 and a bit years ago I am still sober and never looked back… thank you for you kind messages means a lot ❤️
Nice, glad you’re doing better.
Im a complete stranger but take these kind words... your doing great, keep it going and im glad your finally on your path to becoming a better you keep reminding yourself that everyday
I hope you are still sober
I do hope you kept it up..
❤️ you are just heroes.
We are more powerful than we think about us...
Saw someone say "most underrated on the album," while tru, it's also one of the most underrated Eminem tracks of all time
This WHOLE album and with the side b, is a complete masterpiece, one of the best of eminem
[Final Copy]
so does 25 to Life from Recovery. It's a song about hip hop but can also be taken as a song for his ex
ALSO his life in the rap industry. ;) yeah its got triple meanings. which is insane how well its written and it fits these themes.
its quadeuple drugs , alcohol, women, rap .
Easily my favorite song on the album. Every other song is a very close second. This album is fucking crazy. Thank you. We needed it bad.
One of my favourite songs, I completely understand and get, been through it more times than I wanted. Eminem, the great one. Music is like therapy, saved me so many time. pure brilliance.
The fucking double meanings are insane.
"Trying to unscrew you."
"Talk about eating out the palm of my hand."
"You're so much of a handful."
"Feel like I'm on top when I'm on you."
This a a perfect song for people who say Eminem only raps fast and doesn’t speak on real life stuff.
Eminem the goat hands down
I could be with anybody, I choose you
Still, it's no excuse to abuse you
But no one knows what I'm goin' through, so I'd used you
To be truthful, I wouldn't know what to do if I lose you
So I refuse to, might have a screw loose and a fuse blew
But I think I might be buildin' up a tolerance to you
'Cause one minute I'm hollerin', "Screw you"
Next I take it back, guess you can say I'm tryna unscrew you
But the shit's about to pop off, yeah, I feel you up
Then I got you totally open as soon as I take your top off
You're so hard to resist, you knock my socks off
My friends say you're bad for me, hogwash
I'll never love again
The way I loved you
Did you find someone new?
Are you doin' this with them?
'Cause I remember when
Still remember when you was mine, yeah
We were inseparable at one time, yeah
You know my love for you was undying, yeah
You used to always have my back
Some days it feels like you're all that I have
That's why I'm tryna hold onto you for as long as I can
And you just want me for my money so I got you wrapped all in Saran
Damn, talk about eatin' out the palm of my hand
But if not for my financials
I wouldn't have you anyways, there have been ample
Plenty days, where I'm just in a daze and I can't pull
Myself up out this rut and you're so much of a handful
I can only take so much of you all at one time
Because too much of you's just too much to swallow sometimes
Gotta take you in doses, but when you're not at my side
I shake in convulsions, separation anxiety 'cause we may be the closest
Yeah, baby we hopeless, don't we make an atrocious
Combination? We know, it's like playin' with explosives

only thing.....it's not "hard proof"....he's making the sound of spitting
First time I’ve heard this album! I can’t even believe I missed out on this so long ago lol. This man kills it every time! Blessed to have your songs.
Man, I could listen to his songs all day long and not get tired of it. He's beyond incredible.
When Eminem makes a song about addiction but you get addicted to it
outstanding move
When Eminem said, *he got more hooks in him than swae lee* (which I know was a double entendre) He literally came with some fire hooks in this album ngl.....🔥🔥🔥
Swae Lee honestly has the best hooks in rap
Triple!
W
The addiction song.... its a wound that never quite heals... always the realest
Can't get over how classic and fresh this feels at the same time. Pure energy, art in motion.
I really love the last Verse when the Beat changes..
Man this is an absolute masterpiece.
This surely deserves a music video.
That hook 🔥
Bro MTBMB has 2 songs that are double entendres all the way through. The lyricism here is INSANE
prince six GOMUNKUL 6 = FUTURE, his mfusic will be popular as hell in 2 years trust me
Legend is back
True
noor quli legend was always here and always will be
Bs he never left
The wordplay in this song is top tier and just proves why is one of the GOATs
1:54 when dr dre put his hand on the track .. woooooow 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Didn't like it
Em is a genius. The song is art and has multiple meanings. Stop arguing.
Great Track

Anyone going through any kind of drug problems, I can relate to this so much.
I’m an alcoholic at 33 I’ve had 2 seizures from withdrawals this year so far.
It’s crazy how on point he is!
it's been 2 years im still rocking this album it's pure gold
It aged well
Me too 😉
Really great honestly, we’re lucky to still have em around
The replay value is very high
2020 really wasn't so long ago.
The second verse in this song is just one of the best verses of the modern eminem era, hands down top 5 at least. Out of this world flow and lyricism, top eminem performance.
This song is different when you're missing someone you love...
this song hits different when you realise is not about someone,em was speaking about his relationship with drugs..at the final throwing the methadone in the wc he also talked about this in arose from revival also the flushing toilet
Lmao 😂 people always think hes talking about a girl when its always drugs or the rap game.
@@Odyssey636 but em does a lot of doubles and triple entendres in his music, another ex 25 to life from recovery it s about the rap game but it can also be about kim
You got that right
Even tho this song is about addiction, me never being an addict, its much more relatable for me as a heart break song. Only difference in the hook for me is "I used to always have your back".
These songs just have something about them that no other artist can create.
P.S. You create art, art that'll be around for centuries to come, they will study you one day
This song and album is a masterpiece, The hidden subtext exposition in this song blows my mind!
The greatest to ever do it. Period. This song is about his addiction and I know everyone whos ever been there feels this so powerfully
This part 1:54 is literally amazing!
It gives me goosebumps. Dre mixed and mastered it which is why its amazing.
@@spinal1280 Yes, exactly!
Hell yeah on repeat mode 🔥🔥🔥

@@MarcelReuling yo what the actual fuck
When I listen to Em, people think, "he's listening to the a top, iconic rapper who keeps it G" but in reality I'm listening to a top, iconic rapper who knows Men are human beings too and he speaks to their hearts an soul making them keep it G. Em ❤️
I listen to your music because of my older brother since I was 8 years old. Since I am from Germany I didn't understand it but loved the flow and the beat. Now I am 27 and you are still here creating the best music. You even make me think in doubles sometimes. You are a legend spitting the truth, always
A song has never been more relatable.
1:54 - Uuhhhhhhh! This beat drop with Em's lyrical rhythms has me jacked!!!
The mix of bangers and meaningful tracks on this album is out of this world. MTBMB is high key everything🔥
The moment i understood the double entendre OMG genius
I think this song is a triple entendre. Drugs, women, music
Dom S yeah could ne with em you never know
yesss, with good live performance! forever
I'm waiting for the person to like so it's 69
@@shisuiuchiha4847 now
if this song didnt exist, I might've not known about the dangers of "ambien" when I had it prescribed for dealing with sleep when I was trying to beat another addiction. this made me be very careful with that shit.
I literally started crying when Em said "I'll never love again, the way I loved you"
lmao, this is what happens when you have so many masterpieces, songs like these get buried. One of his best songs ever.
Favorite song on this album
cant stop listening. weeks later. hits hard with its multiple meanings. beautiful.
My favorite is "Farewell" but this song is fire af
Rachel Trlicek This song is great
What about godzilla?
@@lovesscience4158 definitely not the best.
This song is the local anthem to my sobriety Emninem is so my hero I swear to you, GOD
That beat switch is my new drug now...!! Damn💕
yeah same though ahaha
W
em is soo good at these double meaning songs man. seduction and 25 to life both sound like they're about a girl, every single line, but as revealed at the end, are actually about the rap game. this one's the same but except with drugs.
I'll never love again
The way I loved you
Did you find someone new?
Are you doin' this with them?
'Cause I remember when
Still remember when you was mine, yeah
We were inseparable at one time, yeah
You know my love for you was undying, yeah
Used to always have my back

2025 on the corner. Anyone still listening to this bomb ?
Always
"Cause i remember when, I remember when you was mine (yeah) we were inseparable at one time (yeah) you know my love was undying (yeah) you used to always have my back" 💯 the words are so chill its crazy i hear the emotion of rawness
Thank you Eminem for this.. anyone that doesn't understand what addiction and recovery is like here's the song
Love songs are always so much more powerful when they're about drugs and not an actual person.
You KNOW it real when it's done like that lol
This song is literally my life right now... all I can do is pray we'll get through this and forgive each other. Ti amo love 💔
One of the most underrated songs!
this is def one of my favorites from this album.
If you keep listening to the song over and over again, you will truly understand that he is signing and referring abouts his drugs addiction
singers, rappers. they are zeroes. in 2024 conly GOMUNKUL 6 worth the attention.
seriously. the whole song is parallel double entendres. mindblowing. This track is a masterpiece.
triple* entendre actually. his life with the rap game is another interpretation.
@@innerg_92 No* actually. or he is done with his rap game, according to the lyrics. not parallel as I stated.
Such a blessing, amazing album. Every stage of ems evolution has been out of this world.
I was smoking cannabis 10 years straight and that everyday.. Quite not much like snoop dog but I hit that dope hard like I'm his nephew.
Today I'm 5 months clean.
To everyone out here, you can do it and make it through!!! Just belive in yourself, do it for someone you love, your family.. Wife.. Kids what or whoever but do it especially for yourself cuz you're only once on this earth.
Stay healthy and blessed.

Thank you M for putting this out for free on UA-cam.
Let me here these 'crazy verses'
@@yunngmelt1858 send me your email
This is my favorite song on the album because of how clever it is. Literally the whole song is a double entendre. Fuckin genius man. Hip hop GOAT.
Goosebumps everywhere.....
Love you Marshall
Anyone with/or had any kind of addiction can relate to this one! Keep coming with the fire Marshall 🔥👊🏽

Shoutouts to everyone suffering from addiction, you got this. I went to rehab and got sober I've recently relapsed. I feel shitty but I'm trying to get my shit back together.
fun fact this song is about his drug addiction. eminem is good at doing double meanings its insane
The whole song is a double entendre. Genius.
Triple. Drugs, fame or hip hop, women
