Mechanics will not charge tax on some work because they are not declaring on taxes. If there are other costs like they had to order parts then there is a paper trail and they have to do it on the up and up and charge tax. At least that is what I have seen. I havent bought anything from street vendors before
yeah but doing sales tax fraud would be the dumbest thing ever because the store never has/needs that money, it goes from buyer to govt. the store wouldn't benefit or be hurt by the not doing the sales tax. sure it would help the customer save 7-9% buy most customers will buy the item regardless of tax, especially in the us. no store would do "tax fraud" in the manner that acie is talking about. tax fraud by not reporting all your income is different from a store offering to "cover" the sales tax for someone.
in fact what i would GUARANTEE she was referring to and she just mispoke was places having to charge like 5% for card processing transactions versus paying the bill in cash in full with no extra fee cuz its cash and not card.
Acies streams look like they are good to fall asleep too
NYC sales tax is 8.875% an extra $1 on $10 purchase would be a 10% tax so they overpaid the sales tax.
nah, normally you don't pay extra "tax" to street vendors
Skemed
lmao you dont pay tax to a street vendor. they are selling something without a license unofficially
yes yes bro. He is paying taxes for sure. 100%
I got this crap at a flea market years ago I told them you want tax money you show me a receipt or give me my money back i didn't pay any tax.
i love that the multiple holes clip needed no context. Acie was just hoping.
Acie is so gorgeous for real.

the cash thing is a unspoken rule. but yes you are right
No, I dont know how it's in Canada but in Europe tax is already part of the price, it doesnt come on top of the price like in the US.

The US handles tax in such a weird way man. Get with the times holy shi*.
i mean if youre bad at math you could just say that bro...
Or they could just include it on top of products already and not pay them separately?
