If i was hyunjoo I would have made the same decision. Reason being i started having feelings for guy A but he didnt feel the same. I would feel bad to just choose guy B just because i was rejected especially since there is another girl who I am friends with that likes him. And even tho the potential is there for something to develop between me and guy B time was not on our side. In putting aside my feelings towards guy A and trying to focus on guy B it would take time. I would want to move a bit slower 1 being to get to know guy B more and allow my feelings to grow and 2 to let him kno that even though there was something there between me and guy A I am taking the time to know him and not make him feel like he was second best. Im just focusing on him. Time is not on our side and the crucial date to kinda solidify something between us didn't happen. I ended up with guy A and found out that my feelings are not something that I can control by just sweeping it under the rug. In this case I could never choose guy B at the end. That would not be fair to him. If hyunjoo had chose dogyun then that is where she would have been a bad person because he would have been her 2nd choice and she would have chosen him as to not look foolish at the end because she knew that younjoo and hyunwoo were already a pair. In my opinion she went with her feelings and chose hyunwoo. She did it to say goodbye. She was shocked at the end when hyunwoo showed up too and they cut the ending off. I would have done the same in choosing guy A as me saying goodbye. My heart chose you but I know u like someone else so this is me following my heart and putting an end to everything. Then at least after filming she can put everything to rest and move on. Then if guy B kept in contact with me or even if not and I saw him later on I would start looking at him differently, with new eyes and heart because I'm over guy A. I think there would have been a chance for both dogyun and hyunjoo to start something after the show. I wanted it to happen. So during their decision i wanted HJ to choose HW, HW to choose YJ, DG to choose HJ then that would be that and there would be room to heal and forget and start fresh after the show.
She said they had been dating after filming until middle of broadcast, but because of all the attention, they naturally drifted away because being burdened by the attention and cannot date freely. Well thats what she says hehe. I think the broadcast itself plays a role in their drifting relationship. Maybe as they date and watching the broadcast, and knowing how each other and YJ feelings, im sure it made them think a lot..
If hyunjoo and hyunwoo "broke up" , even tho I dont understand what is being said, then my assumptions were correct. In the last episode I think everyone followed their heart except hynwoo and hyunjoo being the type of person she is will not reveal exactly what happened. And tht's why the ending was cut so abruptly compared to season 1. Hyunwoo thought that youngjoo chose gyubin. So he chose hunjoo, but when youngjoo called him at the end he knew. He hesitated when he was goin to hyunjoo. He still kept contemplating it and that is where while i was watching it i knew that hyunjoo was just his 2nd choice if youngjoo didn't choose him. They didnt show all of their convo when each of them called the other. That is so bad because i felt sad for hyunjoo. Every body is hating this girl for no other reason than she chose to stay with her heart's decision. She was the one who got played in this indecisive game between youngjoo and hyunwoo.
Hyun-oo and hyun-joo, they broke up at the end Cuz many people know them when they're trying to date together, so they couldn't make it But i think it's just excuse haha
