a great early tip is also, eaten food expires in the order you ate it. while the first one is still expiring the following will not start expiring. if you can reset the expiration by eating the same food. so early on, when you only have small amounts of good food eat something with a high availablility first, like berries, and follow up with some good buff food. as long as you keep replenishing the berries the good food won't expire from your food bar.
1. If you approach wheat fields from the wall side instead of the main gate, no guard will spot you and you can pick till you fill your inventory. 2. The spot just south is a much better spot for the base as you get all the main resources AND river reed close by. 3. Go for headshots with the bow gives more XP 4. Priority queueing is a BIG thing. Look at what resources you have and optimize the priority queueing
Another tip/bug, if you have lots of the same food, and it's about to spoil, pur it all in a chest, only the first one will stay almost spoiled, the rest will go to full. Good way of keeping lots of food fresh if you need for winter.
I knew all these tips. All good tips though. One important one? If you store your food in the storehouse or in your box, they rot one at a time. Keep them in your inventory and they all rot simultaneously.
I don't play this any more because I want to play it with my new PC and when I have at least a week to waste. Awesome game. Thank you for making this video
I wish they’d make another one but set during the Oregon Trails Era of the USA. With an even harsher survival elements where cannibalism is a horrible possibility, so you could recreate the Donner Party Tragedy.
I have mine near my settlement, haven't worked it what works best just yet. Testing mining camps that run independently from my main settlement see if this works better.
Thanks for the quick response! I’m guessing for the reeds you were just going to collect them manually as I can’t seem to put forage hut near my settlement and reach those still. Love your content!
I keep getting killed from groups of guys that show up every 10 minutes. I have restarted a few times. I have raiding set to low and disabled. Right now it's unplayable with the number of guys that show up before I am able to do anything. How do you get rid of those guys?
I’m going for 100% the game, I got 12 recipes left I’ll have all T1 and T2 items reached. I would just add to the tips as well as always be researching you should always be reading books if you got em. Just need a few more apprentices to finish up -T2 research
Lol, i was actually wondering if i didnt lower my game window, we have almost exactly the same settlement layout, even me village hall its just like 1 mm to the right.
@@WombatGaming I understood the toilet would be the place to dump undesirables, yes, I was hopping to see if there might be a way to disassemble them later on the tech tree. Ty for your response.
Meat is hard to get early game. you're the only one who can hunt it. In tier 2, you can build a hunters camp, and then it becomes easier. To start lots of smoked mushrooms lol
@@WombatGaming yes...this..after smoking rack unlock quite a bit easier. I like to store meats before nighttime and it only uses one piece of wood, followers will have already lit the fire and eaten before you wake up assuming you sleep lol
Hell yes I've put in some serious hours and fell like I still have so much still to do, only liberated 1 town so. This game has some staying power, and very playable right now
The only complaint I have with the game is the lack of voice actors and the AI voice options lol. Pretty bad at times or most of the time. Outside of that it’s a great game.
My trapper guy doesn't seem to be harvesting rabbits, he just tries to get close enough to the trap to harvest the rabbit, but never does. Is that something you're experiencing?
Pretty sure there’s still a trap but where they just stop working after a while. Can check the statistics on them to see if delivering. Imo destroy and replace
I thought that after 70 hours of gameplay, at least you would tell us about liberating villages and where to find iron, the guide is cool but for people who are just starting the game 🐺
@@BILLY-YT-BO6 I have already played 134 hours, the game is very enjoyable, I liberated 3 villages but the game became terribly difficult, the groups were much larger and much better armed, which made liberating another village impossible, and in this 4th village there is an employee that I need for further development 🤔
@@BILLY-YT-BO6i am 34 hours in with 10 of them being on a solo run first. Honestly understanding the worker system helps you crush through resesrch and mats. @@kuzol5384 Hype or no hype, I'm enjoying it. I was waiting for Manor Lords to release and overdosed on watching numerous pre-release vids. My YT feed suggested Bellwright, so I watched a couple of vids, my first reaction being meh. I persisted with watching one content creator simply because he's a funny bugger, and then discovered the game had more depth than what I initially thought it had. In particular, I appreciate the way in which my NPCs do all the grinding/resource gathering for me. Like all early access games, it's a gamble, so we'll have to wait and see how things pan out. However, for those that enjoy medieval themed games, I'd say go for it.
Hi. Combat is very much like Bannerlord. At first you feel slow, weak and clumsy, but as you level up your skills, attributes and get better tier weapons, it becomes very satisfying.
EXTREMELY under rated game. I've been playing it like crazy all this week and its a lot of fun.
Couldn't agree more! I'm addicted to this game.
Exactly this
Yep 200%, game is bloody great
Is there pvp?

which spot south are you referring? could you post a pic?
They changed the food system. It won't refresh anymore but put the food in the last slot after eating
Quick note if your trap is broken and you disassemble it it goes into your inventory as a rebuilt trap so you dont have to build it again
Good tip. haven't tried it has my villages just fix them now I guess. Good for early game when your are doing that stuff yourself.
yessir! I do this too

Yes I notice that in the barn today, thanks for the tip

That river to the right of your settlement there another craftsmen you can buy straps fron just be careful of wolves because they also spawn there.

Holding right click over the food eats it, just a QOL tip :)
Yes true, Good tip
Should I put my forage huts (wood, plants etc) away from my camp with an outpost or all pretty much in a town together??

What about Seed Pouch and how to use the shields effectlvely ?
I give seed pouches to my farmers, which seemed to work well.
@WombatGaming farmers alone? What about hunters and foragers

Only way to reduce the attacks is to take out the bandit camps
@@WombatGaming They are gone for good then? Starting to kill them now that I have some stuff but just annoying.
Great video, thanks. It helped me a lot.

They really need to fix getting straps. Its tedious in early game. The vendor should sell like 5 a day at 50 gold.
When you take out bandit camps does that then have the effect of less patrols in the area?
Yes, the bandits will not be seen so often

great food combo is smoked and grill fish with a meat. stam and hp 2/3 my screen
