Please Read: This film is non-political and was made for the purposes of entertainment and education.
The Battle of Amiens, also referred to as the Third Battle of Picardy, began on the 8th of August, 1918 and would be the starting point of the 100 days offensive.
The objective of this battle was to force the German army from the Saint-Mihiel salient, which was captured several months before during Operation Michael.
An Allied force consisting of British , Australian, Canadian, French and American divisions, with the support of tanks and aircraft, would advance over 11 kilometres or 7 miles on the first day, making it one of the greatest land gains of the war.
With the heavy losses of land and men, combined with low morale, a large number of the German armed forces surrendered to the Allies. Erich Ludendorff would later describe the first day of the battle as "The black day of the German Army".

The Anzacs I always wanted to do film about the Anzacs during ww1 and ww2, I feel alot of the times they are easily overlooked for their efforts like the Canadians or the Indian army. It's my ambition to make more stories based on these armies during ww1 and ww2.

This is awesome but if I could pick the Aussie accents could be better we don’t say lads and our hats would be folded on the left but other than that is great
Thanks for the feedback man. I tried folding the hats using a lighter but I couldn't get the fold right. I could only find a few people to do the Aussies at the time including myself. I will make sure to improve in the future
JedAnimationStudios it’s all good I just thought I would tell you so it could be even better in the future even though it was great and for the hats you can buy old lego hats off eBay that look very realistic if you want we could keep talking and I could give you ideas for what the Aussies say so if you want just find a way we can chat

G'day, only found this video 3 years after he posted it unfortunately. I was the bloke that voiced the aussie sergeant in this, I'm from south Australia and at the time couldn't do a very strong early 19th century Aussie accent.

Germans in every movie, animation, TV series, ww2 drama, cartoon, and even a lego stop motion.. always spot the enemy first but then die first
Yes cause it must be realistic that means the Americans wins but dramatic to so the Germans should have a better position or more soldiers to make it interesting

@@JedAnimationStudios I'd love to, but turns out stop-motion is pretty difficult while holding a newborn baby in one arm! Once he's in a sleep routine I may be able to make that one! As a contingency stop-gap however, I've been teaching myself blender and how to make it look stop-motion style, so i may be able to post some content that way - will put some images on Insta soon! Good luck on whatever your own next project is :)

Why you are not making any video on our Indian Army soldiers who went during first world war
Lack of pieces and Lego parts my friend. But it is my hope one day to do an animation about India during ww1 or ww2. Maybe the Battle of Hong Kong where the Indian regiments held put against the Japanese. My uncle on my dads side was a soldier deployed to Burma in ww2, he always told my dad 'You will never find anyone who is as tough and determined as Indian soldiers, they fought like Tigers and saved our backs many times, they are true allies'
