- After spending most of the day in the heat and sun in Durand Michigan, I was able to catch about 8 CN trains, HESR with their 702/701 train, and GLC’s OSTN train. I posted HESR and GLC as their own videos.

KABOOM to this awesome catch of CN trains! Man you hit the JACKPOT with this video! It was so long in time I made some popcorn b4 it started. I'll bet you go back to these locations after what you've seen especially with the BIG GEVO'S leading these big consists especially the one w all the AUTORACK CARS! Man I'm happy for you to venture out and catch this much action! CN is one of my favorite railroads and was totally impressed! Thanks again for sharing this video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort MRP!
Thanks very much for the kind words, I think the town of Durand has to be one of my all time favorites I didn’t expect to catch this many trains. I’ll definitely make many more returns here

Nice 🎥 plenty of action. Nice meet at the depot. Saw some IC gons with lids that's something I didn't know they had any. Also in there a WC. dbl door boxcar reporting marks only. Like a MP or SP lumber car. WC never had any. Train 7 which is probably WB is the real gem. All the old BN.covered hoppers plus 2 actual ATSF! Then the 2 cuts totaling almost 20 cars of logs in Algoma Central & Wisconsin.Central rack cars. Now where do they go??? Looks like decent hardwood not some pulp junk. A guy in Marinette always had SB empties so maybe a veneer mill near Escanaba? Then the other racks hauling circular metal ingots. Great day of shooting!
It was a fun day, can't wait to go back again. Them BN cars were pretty cool to see hopefully next time some foreign power will be on a few trains

@@HuronRailProductions Yeah it was, I was actually in Durand for my first time on Thursday and I got a meet between an Amtrak and a CN manifest. The manifest had a heritage unit leading (3233 with the american and canadian flags)
@@RoyalKingOfTheRails Oh wow that’s pretty cool, I was hoping to see foreign power or a heritage unit on my visit but never did unfortunately
@@HuronRailProductions yeah foreign power is hard to catch on this line. The first time I railfanned the flint sub I was in Lapeer and Imlay city back in March and almost every train I saw had foreign power. CSX, Kansas City Southern, BNSF, tons of NS, can’t say I’ve seen any since

@@HuronRailProductionsyeah I went today and saw 2 trains one CN and the other HESR yard job, both are on my channel, I filmed almost the whole operation with HESR.
