I followed your instructions and bought the screen from the link you provided........and it worked! You totally saved my phone. You are the best. Instant subscribed.
This was greatly informative. Since my screen has burn in after 5 months and isn't covered by warranty this is the next best thing. Very simple! Thanks!
Really helpful man. Cracked my phone this past Saturday and got the part and fixed it today. Used the parts in your description and couldn't be happier. Saved me a huge headache. Thanks again!
the one's im seeing on ebay, the pictures they have listed don't have the LG logo, are they knock-off parts that don't have the LG logo, or do that do that just for the branding rights/trademark stuff?
Munky332 I bought from eBay seller fix2save. Indistinguishable between the two screens. Had the LG logo and everything. Appears to be genuine LG parts.
Great break down, thank you so much. Too add the proximity sensor has (2) parts. The electronics, and the plastic housing that pops out in the front. Also to be mindful of the adhesives, you may have to carry them over as well. The ebay replacements are pretty bare, took me 1-1/2 hrs to complete broken screen replacement.
Excellent video, thank you very much. However, there were a few things that needed to be moved over from the old screen to the new one which you did not cover. For one, the top and bottom black bezels - essentially the face of the phone minus the glass - was not included with my new screen and it required me to pry them off the old screen. They are held in in place by adhesive so you need to get in under a corner and gently pry it off. The adhesive remained attached to the old screen but wasn't an issue as the pieces themselves snap into place and then gets screwed in place when the phone is assembled. Also, there is a small lens (I assume for the IR blaster) that also did not come with the new screen. I had to push that out and install in the new screen. Easy to do but if you forget to do it you'll have a hole where a black lens should be. Finally, there were three other light grey colored 'rubber' pieces similar to the IR blaster that I needed to move over. All are just pressure fit and it was easy to move them. You can see them in your video at 4:36.. two on top, one on the bottom. I'm not sure if these omissions were the result of the screen vendor I used not including parts that other vendors would include, but I thought it would be helpful to mention this here as something for people to keep an eye out for.
+kenji belen I think it should be very similar if it varies even a little bit. As far as which screen fits which model you should check the description to make sure.
Check at the 4:40 mark I start explaining about the screen you need. And I have a link in the video description below the video you can find the correct screen. It’s so much easier to change one with the frame included instead of prying all the glass apart.
Hey thank you yeah there is no way I'm going to take on this test knowing nothing about phones can someone here please tell me what they think it would cost if you went to the phone repair to have this done my screen is going haywire like I'm pressing buttons at all times and it has a few lines going through it but sometimes I can use it and it's perfectly fine the guy at the repair shop told me it's an older phone and it's going to be $100 to replace is he ripping me off can someone tell me what logic I could use if I needed to talk him down and what price seems fair
This was particularly useful. Thank you. It would have been even more useful if you'd told me to remove the rear-facing camera and fit it to the new one :-) I worked it out though!
Got a small crack in the screen today. can barely see it but I know it's there. herd a lot of bad reviews from local "repair shops" . think I'll be doing this myself. be backing up all my data if worst comes to worst, and take my wife's upgrade 😈
+Al Capone Yeah I think if you get the LCD with frame included it shouldn't be that hard to do. Lgs usually are good to work on. Especially the v10. Take care.

Bret Hottle sweet, thanks. I'm torn between replacing my screen or upgrading to the v20
bret255 you could have just repaired the front glass screen. It's wayy cheaper...
Thank you, the video was easy to follow.
And I did purchase the replacement part and tools through your links.
+Tony Pian Awesome thanks I appreciate that. Great job on your repair!

Yes it could be some differences of what is included with different screens. Thanks for sharing the tips!
Great step by step video. Helped me tremendously make my reapair.
+Vince McMullen Awesome thanks I'm glad it helped great job on your repair!
HEY MAN .
I Have to say thank you so much for this video .
i fix my phone by my self it's very simple and helpful . THANK YOU ! :)
+hammam alasadi Wow thanks so much I appreciate that!!
do all the screens in the listing provided work on any lgv10? and is it the same replacement process for every screen listed on there?
+kenji belen I think it should be very similar if it varies even a little bit. As far as which screen fits which model you should check the description to make sure.
Perfection you're a great teacher .
Hi, another stupid question, but do how is the quality of these replacements? Are they using 2 layers of Gorilla glass like LG claims the V10 has?
+Michael Moore If you get oem quality it should I think. You could message the supplier and confirm.
if the outer screen just crack and the touch is working well should I still buy LCD digitalizer or just the screen
+Bernard Campbell Personally I think it's best and easiest to replace the LCD digitizer assembly.
Please do a replacement video of the Kyocera Hydro Wave I did so much research and still didn't find how thank you
Sorry. Yes if I ever get my hands on one I will I haven't yet. So many phones to do. Lol
Lol thank you very much 😁
Bhai is ki lcdkitne PR milti he??
I never learned how to replace the screen. There is a lot more to it than what you show.
If you get a screen with frame then you transfer all the stuff from your old screen to your new screen. That’s what the video shows.
It doesn't show replacing the screen, it is a deceiving video title.
It shows replacing the whole LCD screen assembly. Disassembling the phone swapping over the parts to the new screen and reassembly
Check at the 4:40 mark I start explaining about the screen you need. And I have a link in the video description below the video you can find the correct screen. It’s so much easier to change one with the frame included instead of prying all the glass apart.
Hope you make a video clip for replacing charging port of LG V10.
It doesn’t appear that I have one. I’m thinking that means it’s not replaceable without soldering because it’s part of the logic board.
just replaced my screen
, Thanks dude
+Mark S. Awesome good for you!
Hello..I have an att phone.. Can I use the screen of another carriers like Verizon or t mobile. Or it has to match?
+Angie Gonzalez I think they should all fit. Is there a way you can check the connectors to compare?
I don't know.. I was looking for one on ebay..
+Angie Gonzalez OK they should specify in the item description listing which models that they fit.
thank you helped a lot
👊

It seems a little high to me. You can get the part for anywhere from $25-35 so 75 seems like a better price to me.
This was particularly useful. Thank you. It would have been even more useful if you'd told me to remove the rear-facing camera and fit it to the new one :-) I worked it out though!
+Doug Paulley Oh I thought I did. Well glad it helped thanks.
Doug Paulley he did tell you to idiot😂
Will the LG logo be on the screen assembly?
+Mark S. It all depends which screen you get. I think it will. It should show in the pictures in the listings I think.
you can get the bottom part for like 8 bucks on ebay if it doesn't, I'm doing the color swap to mine atm just waiting for screen to come in
How hard is it to just replace the glass without the digitizer and assembly? Much cheaper option tackling the real problem.
+stuffduedman It's very difficult to get it off and doing so without damaging the LCD underneath as well. If you want to go for it that's up to you.
Stupid question, can you replace the screen if it's black to a white one? Would it be any problem?
+Carlito Zarate no problem either way. They should interchange.
+Smart Easy Repair thanks!
so how do you transfer that sticker that says your phone model info without tearing it?
+WisbySam I just pulled carefully on mine. It's kind of just a gamble. You could try heating it up carefully a little bit see if that helps.

Guy goes was too damn fast if you're trying to follow along.
+iceberg8388 You can pause it now and then. If I go slow then people complain I drag it out too much..
hahahahahaha, someone hasen't found their pause or rewind button yet.
