Cool. I’ve never heard of that test. Do they only do computer based? We have been doing the Iowa test since we used to do it with a homeschool community we used to be a part of. They are definitely long but nice to see what the kids need work on.
What grade level did you start adding in the language test? I'm hesitant to add an additional test because my oldest takes a lot longer than average to finish these tests. However, he's technically starting middle school next year and I'm wondering if it would be beneficial for planning next year.
I personally don’t teach to common core so I’m not sure, but when I searched this is what I found (which makes sense because it’s used in public schools) What is MAP? Developed by NWEA, MAP Assessments (Measures of Academic Progress) are computer-adaptive assessment aligned to the Common Core State Standards in Reading and Math, and General Science.
I know this is old but my son recently took the assessment and we use Memoria Press Pre Algebra online and he scored above average, they don’t use common core
Do you use any testing in your homeschool?
This was so helpful! I’ve been thinking about testing my kids too just to see where they’re at. Thanks Ashlee!!

It is only available via computer or tablet.
Great video! Are there any practice test?
I believe so! I am making another video this year and will share if there are any practice options ❤️

We started adding it I think in 2nd grade
I tested my daughter, but in her summery, it did not show the typical of grade level. Is it because it was the first time we used this test?
No it should still show that even with 1 test- if you used homeschool boss, just chat or email them and they can assist ☺️
Regarding the math is it all common core aligned?

Thank you! We don't teach common core either so I wasn't sure how that would work out.
@@amandapatterson9182 we’ve never had any issues ☺️
