Ever wondered how someone's gone from learning AWS ➡️ cloud professional?
We're soooo excited to invite Kobe Xu, who:
🌱 Started his AWS journey in 2021, when he got AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified as a Computer Science graduate
💻 Landed his first cloud engineering role in the same year
☁️ Become a Solutions Architect and Senior Consultant in 2022!
He's now also the leader of Cloud Club New Zealand, helping students take their first steps in their cloud journey.
In this NextWork community event, we chat with Kobe about...
✨ What helped him land his first cloud role
🧠 The differences between learning AWS as a student and being a cloud professional
🔎 What he looks for now as an employer, helping his company hire junior cloud engineering roles
I was glad I was there. A great first guest speaker for NextWork. 😁
