    Are you guys having issues with the frame contacting the swing arm on the pivot point on the left side? Mine is suuper close to the frame and its starting to rub some of the paint off of the swing arm after a few rides. I've heard others that have contacted eride about this issue and they want us to grind down the frame to clearance it..

    With the Ventus upgrade kit available my question is which bike has the suspension to support the additional power?

    • @Shreddylife
      @Shreddylife 4 місяці тому

      Fork and shock upgrades are one of the best things you can do to any of these bikes. The Ventus one is basically a 79 Bikes M Falcon with power upgrades. The brake system and the tires need to be upgraded to support that much power imo It's a pretty decent deal for what it comes with. If you are comparing a bone stock Surron, Talaria MX4, 79 bike M Falcon or Eride Pro SS I would say the Eride Pro SS has the better suspension because the forks sit an inch taller and it has tougher springs. The problem with the Eride Pro SS 2.0 is some people are having issues with the frame being super close to the swing arm on the left side and its causing them to contact each other. I have also seen the pully bolts coming loose and causing a lot of damage. The cool thing is Eride is very responsive and working with the suppliers and customers to make things right.

    Track looks super smooth for all builds displayed. Could you elaborate on why the whoops are rough on e-bike drivetrains?

    • @Talaria567
      @Talaria567 4 місяці тому

      I think it has to do with the engine free reving while in the air causing rpm spikes. I ride whoops a lot and haven’t had an issue but I’ve heard from other places as well that whoops and giving throttle without load is hard on the bikes

      @@Talaria567 thanks man, that makes a lot more sense now. The free revving can be rough I’m sure, especially cause I have my field weakening turned up a good amount

    Interesting how each successive bike's lap time was about 1 second slower than the others, from Mod Ultra all the way down to the stock Light Bee.

    How do whoops damage electric dirt bikes?

    • @BrianLampright913
      @BrianLampright913 4 місяці тому +3

      It's the on-throttle events that break belts, bend axles/jack shafts, and even bend sprockets or break 420 chains. This usually happens when landing from a jump on-throttle which is normal for a gas dirt bike that can withstand those forces. But on these bikes with the torque of the electric motor landing on-throttle often breaks the bikes especially the high output bikes. Similar in whoops when the rear wheel leaves the ground it will quickly spin-up while un-sprung and then the wheel impacts the ground again and transfers a large amount of energy into the chassis.

      @@BrianLampright913 This is good information to know for electric dirt bike riders, thanks for sharing. So to prevent this from happening, at least on jumps, we should ease on the throttle until the rear wheel touches the ground?

    • @BrianLampright913
      @BrianLampright913 4 місяці тому +1

      @@bayareadirtbiking249 exactly we have to retrain ourselves not to land hard on the throttle like we would on an MX bike.

      Another reason to buy a Taleria. and stay away from sir Ron's. You can't ride the whoops on a surround. You'll break the belt. I'm so glad I bought a Talaria.

      Cockpit, so handlebars, stem and footpegs, then suspension, and lastly wheels. The power of the bike is completely stock
