I came across your video when I doze off and extremely exhausted after one day long spending hours studying English. I confess that English a vital key to success. And now, to motivate myself, I want to write something about my English journey to help me have some inspiration to continue to study and immerse myself in English in the next days. I am a Vietnamese student, who was born and grown up in a family with 4 members. From the young age, my parents knew the importance of English, that’s why they always want me to join the English classes and although my family is not wealthy, live in a small village, everything is just enough to live on, but they are willing to save money and afford for my English courses. When I was a pupil at a primary school age, I really really did not love English, and even I was afraid to communicate with foreigners or discuss with friends and teachers about English subject at school. At that time, I felt that English was not for me, and of course I did not need it. That’s why throughout the primary school age, I did not have a solid English knowledge. Move to the time of Secondary school, at that time, I had a knack for Mathematics and calculations. Therefore, most of the time, I spent on studying Maths and developed the calculation skills, also logical thinking skills that help me tackle the math problems. And from this time, thanks to maths, thanks to honing the logical thinking day by day, I realized that I can do everything with my ability. But after that, I still studied science subjects and ignored the importance of English. The story was completely different after enrolling high school, I was lucky to study in one of the top schools in my city and the admission was incredibly competitive so I’m very proud of being a student here. In this educational environment, I interacted and made friends with many of my friends whose their English ability is really good. And from that time, plus communicating with bright people and famous teachers, I realized that English has an important role to play in the success in life. And that’s why my biggest goal at that time is to have the Ielts degree with a high score to please my parents and also help me prepares good English skills to be confident in different professional situations where English is a main tool to communicate. But the life is not easy, to prepare for the entrance of my dream university, I need to master Maths skills to help me overcome the entrance test. Luckily, now, everything is good, I completed my dream of enrolling for my dream university, and now I want to once more time, challenge myself with the Ielts test, and I have prepare it for about 3 months now, and next month I will take the exam. I know English is definitely a shortcut to success, and of course having good English ability is a big advantage. Now, I spend most of my time studying English, immersing myself in English environment by listening podcasts, reading English books and direction sample writing tests and also practice speaking English day by day, little by little, brick by brick. All in all, English is not only a great tool to help me open the door to many horizons, experience new cultures and open my perspective, but English also gives me a chance to get a high paying job in the increasingly competitive job market so that I can earn enough money to ease my parents’ financial burden. I believe in myself, and I’m grateful for everything in life that facilitate me to have a good condition, a good life. I promise with myself that I will work and study diligently to contribute the positive values for life. Grateful for all!!!

Yes ,you are right .My future goals are all connected to English .I can't achieve my ambitions without profession in English. Unlike the others, my country doesn't have many good libraries to study and also quiet and nice places .The place I have learned my English is in my room in front of my computer or in my phone .That means through the internet like watching your teaching videos ,watching manga in English or communicating with unknown ,abroad people by writing some comments on UA-cam and sometimes short conversation and utterance .I amuse myself in learning this language by writing my opinion under the others 'videos with computer keyboard instead of typing in phone. This is a kind of switching my mind not to get bored with subjects .For me,it is a kind of challenging for my fingers .Thank you ,marina , this is all because of you.
