Sticker DIY for the lazy people:
What you need:
Paper
Printer (optional)
Pencil
Anything to color with
What to do: (Printer)
If you're using a printer, print out the picture you want. (Make sure it's a size you are happy with.)
Cut it out.
Get double sided tape and put it on the back of the picture.
Try to make the tape a little accurate for the shape.
What to do: (No Printer)
Get a piece of paper and draw whatever you want.
You can color which is optional.
Cut the shape or whatever you made out.
Put double sided tape on the back of your drawing.
Note: If you don't have double sided tape, you can glue back of the cut-out and put the NON sticky part of the tape of the glue so it sticks. If that doesn't work, fold the piece of tape you have and stick it on. Hope this helps!
Alexander Hamilton this is for people who sell stickers obviously
Double sided tape takes so much time to put. Just get sticker paper and print on it
There's now a sai 2! You use the same product key and it has text tools, shapes and higher memory capacity!
Ah I thought it was in Beta?
Oh it is but I haven't found a single bug except the occasional spelling mistake!
I got it a couple weeks ago and have never had that problem so I think it's been resolved!
Jasmine I'll look into that!Thanks!
*About thirty seconds after opening computer with Jasper as the background picture*
"...I guess it corrupted.."
Nooooo
Lol
i would give u a like but your comment is at 69 likes
what happened to the print and sticker shop you had?
Maggi Kodani I really want to know as well
Would also love to know I'd hoped to send you business
I need to know as well. I dont know where else to print stuff ㅠㅠ
You should look into buying a scan n cut machine. I got one for Xmas and it's changed my life. It will save you so much time cutting.
How do those work? I'm curious since I'm looking into making stickers myself.
DJ Elfin they're great. You can take a drawing of any kind. Hand drawn with a simple bic pen or a printed out image. You scan the images into the machine and then you set the size of boarder you want around the image and it will cut it. The machine is completely stand alone. No computer required. Just plug into the wall. The machine has a lot more capabilities but if you just need a simple cutting machine it's great. You can also set the depth of the blade so you can just do a "kiss cut" for your stickers. There are a lot of videos out there on it.
Cool! I'll check out some videos. Thanks!
You can also get a cricut. You can send the sticker file to your cricut software, use print then cut, and you just print it off, it will have registration marks & when you stick it in the cricut, it will read those registration marks and cute them!
Is it cheaper to have stickers printed by a company than to do it all yourself?
Julie I wanna know that too
making them yourself comes down to less than 4 cents per sticker (not including ink), while using the website "stickerapp" ends up being about 21 cents per sticker (not including shipping)
so no, it's actually cheaper to do it yourself.
ghostyjpg but you're not factoring in the ink costs, that's a big cost right there and costs for a decent quality printer etc.
I make Vegan stickers and sell them on Etsy - just started doing them and already selling loads daily! :)
VeganRevolution Vegan stickers?
Man that is work!!! Well done! Love them!
And here i am, doubling over pieces of and sticking it to drawings of aliens..
Your stickers are so nice and durable. Thanks for sharing how you make stickers
So you basically draw it, print in bulk, and print on special sticker paper?
Isabel Reedman I suppose. XD
Thank you so much!! I plan to be make my own online store soon and this is very helpful!
If you want a more precise border on SAI, you can always select the full draw image, go to selection, and then click increment untill the border size is to your liking. After that, you just fill it in the bucket tool. :P
If you are staying in the UK and this becomes a big earner for you, you may want to consider a craft robo/silhouette portrait - I think Graphtec in the UK has them and are a reliable company.
I have one! I have it set up at my mum's business though, it's not ready to go yet but I'm just doing hand made stickers until I get that machine working again :)
Awesome!
Really neat video, are you going to be at London comic con in May?
Yep! Just got some exciting news through which means I'll be staying for May Comic Con :>

Hello! So I have a question and any advice would be very appreciated! I have a few illustrations that I've done in Illustrator and I want to print them on stickers, cards, etc... But I can't get the color to look right? I was designing and printing in CMYK, as I have read that using CMYK is good for printing, but I've noticed that a lot of these artists just use RGB? The printer I own doesn't print in color, so I have been making trips to various printing places to test out the different color modes which has proven both time consuming and pricey. I was wondering if any one has found a good color mode/setting to use for creating illustrations and printing them? Thanks!:)
ItzHeartGaming the issue also might be your screen, have you tried looking at one of you drawings on a different screen/device? I know that my laptop shows colours a lot less saturated than they later on are, so I end up with eg. orange skin on most screens ;-; Usually you can easily fix this on most computers through the colour & contrast settings
Thank you so much for taking the time to share some really great advice! I hadn't taken into account that my screen might have something to do with it, so I'm glad you brought that to my attention. I will definitely look into my computers settings, and hopefully that will do the trick!
Thanks again!:)
Thank you very much for this! A little while ago, I wanted to make fun stickers with my art. The problem was, all the videos I watched used "contact paper" which I couldn't find ANYWHERE. So I looked vinyl paper up on amazon, and there are so many results! Thanks a lot!

IS THAT LEGEND OF KORRA I SEE!?
GURL your living right 👌👌👌👌
I know you're quite the printer enthusiast, so I'd love a video of you explaining them and going a bit more into the details. :>
How to make stickers
Step 1 : get paper
Step 2 : draw whatever you want
Step 3 : get your tape fold it backwards
Step 4 : stick it on the back of the piece of paper and stick were ever you want
( cut it so the passer is not to big )
Ahhhhh I love your stickers and actually managed to get some at comic con :D
I would always just line the back of the paper with double sided tape. then use a empty sticker sheet to put them on. this helps alot!
how many stickers do you generally sell each convention??
I should just wait for Christmas and put that sticker machine that my sister got one Christmas on my list- this looks a little h a r d
Oh my god I absolutely adore how you draw the budgies they're so cute! I was wondering if you could maybe do a tutorial on how you draw them (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
So basically just print onto special paper?
I am also suprised. This girl is a genious!
So inspiring THANK YOU!
tell me I'm not the only one who got excited when they saw the korrasami 😅
I like your stickers!:)
Hey Jellie Bee, how quickly do you dispatch/get orders sorted? I've been thinking about buying stuff from your Tictail so I just want to know about that stuff
It says so on her About page: "I send most things out at the end of the week, on Thursdays or Fridays"
i made a whole bunch of stickers and gave them to people i met at ECCC using this sort of method and people loved them!!!!
I've cut 320 sticker sets with like 6-7 stickers in each one of them for my first ever convention and it was hell
Helpful video! Thanks and are you going to Birmingham comic con this month?
Nope but I'll be at Liverpool MCM :D
I love stickers
I was so excited to see your Pokémon tcg app icon lol
i wonder if you got a really shape cookie cutter and had it custom shaped to the characters then id be less time consuming . Nice video tho!
You are really tallented. And thank you!
This was probably the most useful video I've seen thus far on this subject 'v' thanks SO much for this! Gonna have to try just for fun pff
Need to find a printer I can use first for a reasonable price of course
Sorry, maybe someone already asked but where did you find the plastic tray for the stickers? Thanks for the informative video! Love your characters!
Thanks for sharing. Can you please tell me the exact printer you are using? And a video of which printer for what kind of printing would be great, thanks.
Gimp is good and there is a free version
i just got back from a convention and its cool to see how professional artists like you do your stickers!
Im purchasing a $40 dollar tablet as my first tablet near the end of the week, i know its cheap but its something right? Wish me luck??
Best of luck!! My first one was the same price!
cσғғεε cαтs I still have and use my $40 one after now 3 years. I love it and it works Great!
It’s not the quality of your tools that matter, but it’s how you use them ❤️
When I'm older I wish to draw and I never knew that anyone could make stickers so good, when I'm 18 or older I wish to make those stickers just like you, wow?! 0_0
Red Fox Leyla how about you draw now?? You can learn and practice more the earlier you start :3
Holy Crap 30 American currency
30 pounds
30 zen
30 kasha
I've always wanted to do this!!
I got the paper u put in the description and it is amazing!!! Without you, I would never be able to do my stickers.. and this isn’t harping on you, but one thing I do DESPISE about the sticker paper is that, if I were to take it all out, I’d never be able to remember which side is sticky. Lol. It really is a pain bc I had to throw out one sticker sheet bc it was all on the wrong side lol. But still these are amazing!!!
If it’s the same matte vinyl I order then if you get it in a good light, the printable side you want is a clean white whereas the backing paper is slightly cream! Also the sticky side is ever so slightly smaller on one edge too!
Jellie Bee ok. Thanks for helping me out! I really appreciate it🐝
I would actually really love a video on good printers! I'm looking to buy a new one seeing as my old one just kicked the bucket recently and have no experience in choosing good printers 😅
I use gimp it works great for me
How can I purchase your bird stickers if you are selling them yet? I went onto your cite but I don't see them :(
I just done my first artist alley at Scotland Rai Con yesterday, hoping to sell stickers next MCM
(Hopefully Beespoke will be back by then?)
This helped me so much omg thank you.
I'm going to make some now! Thanks ! Ilysm!
Wait!! got a tiny question, what kind of paper are you using? Adhesive paper? Can it actually be printed in any kind of printer?
Ok i just realized there were more than one sorry XD
What size of canvas are you working with?
I typically have 2975 x 3850 pixels but I'm not sure if I should go bigger (I have about 9 stickers on a canvas this size)
Great video, super helpful! Thank you!!!
If you don’t mind me asking, what setting do you have your Pixma on to get the colors so rich? Mine always look washed out, including black, when using matte vinyl on a high resolution paper setting. Any tips? Thanks again!!
How i make stickers bc I'm cheap (but if you have sticker paper and all the things she mentioned, use em instead since it's much better quality!) :
Materials are glue, regular tape, paper and colored pencils or pencil etc. (or printed design.), and parchment paper/ wax paper
1. For me, I use paper and pen and colored pencils to *make the design.* I take my piece of paper and draw out lots of different designs (or same designs.) *If you wanna do it and you have a printer, you can print out designs instead.*
2. Next, i *take my glue and spread it over the non-sticky parts of the tape and wait for it to dry.*
3. After, I take my designs and *put the back side on the glued part, and then do #2 and this with my other designs*
4. After, I *line them up in the way i want my sticker sheet to be*, and *slap wax paper on the back of the whole thing.*
I now have my sticker sheet! Individual stickers would be done just like this, except cutting them out after step 4. All *bolded* parts are the main part of the step.
Heya do you remember me from the comic con? I was cosplaying asriel dreemurr from undertale. I was one of the people to recognise you from UA-cam 😀
Just noticed you're in the showcase pamphlet for Liverpool MCM! So excited! I hope I get to meet you!
£15 for 20 sheets of paper? makes 75p per sheet so even though it looks expensive I recon your on to a good thing here, great program as always.
Oh my gosh, you are cutting all of these by hand?? Check out the Brother Scan n Cut 2 (make sure it's 2), you will LOVE it, it will cut all your stuff for you!
Are those budgies I hear in the background?? I have budgies!! They're quite lively!!
Thanks for the tip about the sissors (keeping them stable while cutting). I hand cut my stickers as well. See my blog: myavartstudio.blogspot.com.
When I was younger I thought you and Baylee Jae were the same person, it’s been years since I’ve watched either channels and I literally found out today you guys were two different people, thanks young me for being dumb.
Can you use designs you already made by hand that you just scan into the computer? instead of drawing directly on the software program?
Thanks for the video! It was very helpful!
Your laugh is the cutest thing I've ever heard. You are a ray of sunshine!! So adorable !!~
How did you make the stickers? I'm so confused. How did the stickers get sticky?
Firealpaca is really good too and its free. Ive used photoshop, paint tool sai, microsoft paint and firealpaca.
I just wannna make em for fun and because I like stickers lol
What's the best sticker size for journaling? thanks!

hi i love your art and i would just like to say that your videos helped me with my art allot
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing your process
Would using a exacto knife be okay???
Thank you so much for this video! I just invested in my first Fancy-Ish Art Printer, and I've been contemplating making my own stickers instead of ordering them. I didn't even know you could print nice vinyl stickers on an inkjet!
Where do you usually go to in the UK for conventions?
Great video, but how do you get a glossy finish on the stickers, I tend to use spray enamel but I’m looking to use something else, any ideas?
You should try MediBangPro
Am I correct in thinking you'll be at the Liverpool Comic Con this weekend? I think I seen you in their list on the website and I'll be so excited to meet you if you are.
She replied to a comment asking if shed be at the Birmingham comic con, saying that shed be at the liverpool one, so yes! she will be there (:
Your 3rd oc shown in your video sounds like my name omg
How much do you usually sell your stickers for?
this isn't about stickers but if you do make prints of art work do you think it's ok to keep the original?
have you thought about investing in a cutter like a cricut or silhouette machine would the money be worth it?
I already have a cutter, it's just that when I made this video it had some issues. Also I swapped to full stickers as they started selling better than sticker sheets. Now that sheets are more popular again, I'm back on my cutting machine :)
I actually wanted to ask you, if you have used just the normal matte sticker paper at some point? I'm just making stickers for the fun of it, but how big is the quality difference in your opinion?
DDdoesgames Matte tends to be less vibrant and have more risk of becoming dirty, I think glossy looks more professional overall but it's all down to preferences :>
Whered you get the organization kit that holds the stickers?
