@BeyondEnchantment I wouldn't go that far. I agree that his turn toward the light was really awkward and hard to accept, but he did make efforts to protect both Clark and Martha. However, that doesn't negate the wealth of terrible things he did previously.

This was unintentionally hilarious! Every time they think they've one uped each other, they take a few steps forward and then when they can't realistically do that anymore, the camera zooms in instead!
I’m new to Smallville, so I watched a few episodes of Arrow years ago and didn’t care for the Green Arrow character. Smallville changed that for me! This actor killed this roll and made me love Oliver nearly as much as Clark (Superman’s still the best).
Yeah cause Stephen Amell was playing Batman LITE, not Green Arrow. Everything about him was nothing like Green Arrow from the comic books at all. They wanted Justin Hartley to be the star of a spinoff from Green Arrow but he legitimately turned it down cause he felt loyal to the Smallville cast and in his own words "didn't want to make it all about him".
the nerve/stones of lionel to threaten ollie after wasting his parents decades ago. if ollie knew then what he learned in 'Toxic', he would have blown lionel away right then and there.
He should talk about how he was stranded in an Island for 5 years, and how he came back with one goal : To save his city. But for that he must be somebody else, something else ....
What I liked about Smallville is that they creators treated it like an ongoing cool comic series rather than something over-realistic.
The hell? It was actually very realistic.
The Reaper what? I love Smallville but it was anything but realistic. And it worked in its favor. It shouldn’t be realistic when it’s about Superman.
Exactly!!! That's the formula missing today.
There were times that had realistic logic, but generally, it was pretty fantastical.
That’s how it’s supposed to be
The Luthors are the best characters of this show, I miss them so very much. Hope Lex appears at least in the last episode of smallville

Oliver's parents are dead because of Lionel?? When did that happen?

The man (Lionel) who killed his own parents threatening to someone(Oliver) who lost his parents to him (Lionel). What an irony!
Man, Lionel... you're good.
Amen! Even when Lionel was a good guy he still had some venom on his blood and words!
John C I don’t think Lionel was ever the good guy
Isaiah 40:3 KJV
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
He was slippery. You never really knew his true intentions.

Exactly. Justin Hartley is an incredible Oliver Queen
So he brings him fine wine then threatens him!
Should have done a spinoff focussing on Lionel's youth and rise to power
Plot Twist: Oliver did kidnap Lex!!
Two favorite characters. It's a shame they didn't have many scenes together.
Yeah Lionel! I miss him.
Now, if this had been Bruce Wayne and Lionel Luthor I think the conversation would have gone a lot differently.
They probably would’ve come to blows. Bruce doesn’t tolerate threats.
oliver queen green arrow kicks ass
In what world would a man like Lionel Luthor consider that good acting 😂😂
Too bad this isn’t Clark’s home when he moves to metropolis and became Superman
Really wish Lionel would have said “it is” when Oliver asked him if that was a threat.
