This is the worst way I've seen to unlock mods , realistically getting it out of 20 pieces is still a low number to sample. Let alone you saying you usually get it in 10 . It's a 1% chance . And your spending 1 mod per try , that's 15 modules. Best way is just save up max scrip and buy armor from purveyor when she has a sale(or not , it's still better then this) and get 244 3 star armor pieces or 1000 pieces of 1 star (all sales prices) . Crafting to learn legendary mods is only beneficial when it comes to named legendary like the raid weps or daily ops ones. Since it only costs 2 modules .
@@luisarreola7799 its for sure not new player friendly but I’m not using legendary mods for nothing I do so many raids I don’t craft mods so to me this is easy I have over 100 of each mod besides like the good ones mainly cuz I trade them out if I didn’t I would have about 100 reflective sentinels and many more I’ve also made the vid on what ur talking about that’s for sure more better for new players but if ur wanting sentinel just add it to armors and scrap it the % is kinda bs since I’ve done this trick with all the mods I was missing so it drops from like 12 scrapped items some even come off the 3rd scrap
@@Itz_RG_% is definitely right. You just got lucky. Your argument that it's the best is that it you can get them within 1-20 tries. If that was the case then yeah it would be the best. But basing the best method on personal luck isn't accurate at all. There's just to many negatives to doing this method when you can just scrap what you get from raids and learn pretty much everything. And new players can stick with purveyor picks .
@ so let’s say u do raids 24/7 and now u have a stock pile of thru-hiker mods and u still haven’t learned the mod yet won’t it be easier to just do my way and get it over with or would u just keep hopping u get it at some point most end game players have thousands or mods just chilling why not use them
Those mods are time consuming to create let alone craft n scrap. If you're somebody with a lot of time on your hands go for it. For me this is no good as my time in fallout is very limited.
Your gonna be able to just scap the box mods (ALL STARS) after the next update so you wont even have to put them on an armour or gun to scrap and learn. I'm always at max caps so been stocking up on box mods (that I dont already know) for the next update (I think MARCH for Goul and this new scrap ability) PRETTY EXCITING! It doesnt always give you the non 4 star legendary mod but the whole scrapping thing is bullcrap. They lock you out from learning new stuff. Can scrap thousand of items and learn nothing, it seems to reset like 25 hours or after update. I got 4star instead of steadfast off the stupid launcher.
I think that has to be the worse way of getting mods I have ever seen. Soon legendary mods will be scrap-able, doing it this way now just wastes legendary modules and scrip.

To be honest the best way is to get a ton of maps. Not a few but thousands. Not sure how to find them look at player vendors is they have more than 10000 in misc that’s a tell they are selling maps. Go there and buy them don’t pay more than 5 caps each. Different maps will give you different armor and weapons to scrap. This is the fastest way. If you are fallout first consider yourself luck because this is also one of the best ways to produce scrap resources. Not to mention they have plans you can learn. This is the way.
