In SD With right models, texture embeddings, and negative prompts you can get better results than MJ but yeah it's true that you need some serious learning to understand how SD works and only then you can get some awesome results.

absolutely true. i think the ease of use is why midjourney is what everybody is talking about. even if your prompts are very basic, MJ will produce a nice-to-look at image in seconds and the fantasy style fits many things very well.
stable diffusion is another kind of beast though.
