This video had such an impact on me and my love for makeup 5 years ago. I remember rewatching this over and over again every time I wanted to do this look, because the Naked2 palette was my first real makeup product I bought for myself. I later learned I bought myself a fake. But it didn't matter, doing this look make me feel awesome. I had been searching for this video recently and was just watching your JH lipstick vid, and thought "hey she seems familiar...." and here we are. Back then you replied to a comment asking how you got YDK to pop so well suggesting I use a good primer. Super weird hearing all the things you said again because they were so familiar. I'm now a makeup artist by the way. Thank you.

I've been watching a million Naked 2 smokey eye tutorials since I got my palette for Christmas, and I love yours the best! I like that you don't use too much black or exaggerate your natural eye shape too much (I'm an au natural type gal). I'm going to try this out for a gig on Saturday, and if it works, I'll do it again for Valentine's day!
