Nicholas Barker, Hellhammer and Hannes Grossmann are definetly my favourites from this list!

That System of a Down one seems to represent that band as a whole - not the most technically proficient by a long shot, but excellent composition.

You nailed Nick Barker. When I was just getting into black metal as a middle school kid I became well aware of his work in CoF and Dimmu Borgir. Unbelievable playing.

Pay respects to Mario Duplantier, one of the biggest drummers in metal scene 🤘

Glad to see 2 brazilian drummers in your list. Let’s not forget Krisiun’s Max Kolesne and also Eloy Casagrande who grew up to be a ferocious drummer as well

After watching this and hearing Nihility by Decapitated, I had to listen to the whole Nihility album!! At first I couldn't find it on Spotify, I forgot Earache took their first three albums. Then I remembered I bought the album on iTunes, fucking brutal the album is!!! R.I.P Vitek

I think it's time for part 4! I miss several drummers. Alan Cassidy, Lyle Cooper, James Stewart.. and those who are already been mentioned. Enough for pt 4 and 5. They deserve it!

Nick Barker, perfectly executed! One of my favourite extreme metal drummers along with Pete Sandoval, Mick Harris and Ken Owen \m/

I thought Nikki Anderson's work on Clandestine by Entombed was probably some of the most tasteful drum work ever. Chris Nail's work on "The Law" was sick also. I believe that year he actually got Drummer of the year from Modern Drummer for his work on The Law. Probably two of my favorite albums ever. They had everything and not one bad song on the album. Clandestine or The Law. Flawless albums in my opinion.

Major props for including Kai Hahto. One of the absolute best to ever do it.

Perhaps the best sounding drumkit I've heard on UA-cam. Whatever mic setup you have it's on point.

BTW Spug from Mudvayne is one of the most underrated drummers. If you study the music his parts are incredibly creative and complicated. Ive seen very few covers on youtube with solid note for note playing. Its a shame the band didnt last. As any metal drummer, Mudvayne is worth studying for the drumming.

That Mike Mangini solo was so damn insane, I cried for 3 hours in my room.

Jimmy from A7X and Mario from Gojira. Both insanely good.

Kai Hahto is a great drummer. They were especially great in Wintersun's self titled album, which was amazing
