Very cool! I work with Redstack, Formerly IMAGINiT Technologies Australia and have been judging F1 in Schools the past few years. This is great! I'll share with the Australia F1 in Schools team.
Hi Ana, thanks for the tutorial, can you tell me the specifications of the computer your using? I usually get lag when working with several bodies in the sculpt environment. Thanks in advance.
Could you suggest a tutorial for someone who wants to start using Fusion 360 ? Puedes sugerir un tutorial de Fusion 360 para alguien que quisiera comensar? How did you learn Fusion? Como aprendiste a usar Fusion?
Hi Alejandro, thanks for your question. You can find loads of tutorials in the Design Academy for all levels! academy.autodesk.com/software/fusion-360 I learned Fusion mostly by myself and later on I had some Autodesk training. I would say it just takes some time, I am still learning every day!
I just clicked in hoping to see a video tutorial. I didn't expect to see a cute girl. Nice video. I never used fusion before. I use Sketchup and Rhinoceros mostly. I am an architecture student. Fusion looks cool in this video. Which one of these 3D softwares do you think is the best?
Why's your front 'airfoil' (calling it an airfoil is probably giving too much credit) upside down and facing backwards? That thing is hopelessly un-aerodynamic
Hi Viki, I am using a 3D mouse (SpaceMouse Pro), which is a great help with CAD. You can find out more in this website: www.3dconnexion.co.uk/products/spacemouse.html Hope this helps!
Awesome Video... +ChrisWAKIM Told me about you, you are amazing...I do have a few questions tho, how do you make your objects have different colors? And can you take a non-symmetric object and add a symmetry line to be able to continue editing with a symmetric line? and finally, if i would like to 3D print a project, how can i make the file into a makerbot friendly to be able to Print it? Other than that, you are awesome
Hi David, thanks for the questions. I gave my objects different colours in the rendering work space, where you can change the textures and colours of your model. I don't think you can add a symmetry line to non-symmetric objects, but you can start with a symmetric object and then clear some parts of the model of symmetry and work only in one part of the model (and so make it non-symmetric) while still keeping your symmetry line. This option would be in the drop down menu of the symmetry feature. Lastly, I believe makerbot accepts standard stl files for printing, so you can select the bodies you want to print on the left hand side (where you have the drop down of sketches, components and everything) and just right click and select extract as stl. If you want to print more than one body together I recommend combining the bodies into one and then extract in one go :) Hope this helps!
Ana Andrade, thank you so much, your video and comment were really helpful. I was actually able to print a phone case. but when I made it into an STL some measurements weren't perfect also I cannot complete the download for Autodesk Print Studio (installation fails) and I'm not sure if there's a hidden tool i need to have! can you shed some light on any options so be able to view my object in STL file so I can make sure it's correct before printing it!
No problem David. Maybe you can use GOM Inspect ? www.gom.com/3d-software/gom-inspect/download.html I am sure you can find tutorials on the workflow, I am not familiar with the software but I think that should be what you are looking for.
You might also try Mesh Mixer. In Fusion 360 you can choose which output processor to use. Most would offer a preview of the model and the good ones will allow the user to validate how the part will be built and that it will fit in the Machine's envelope. You can also join or Facebook group for Fusion 360 user and ask questions there as well :) facebook.com/groups/1218703854826411/permalink/1797631540266970/?comment_id=1797636426933148¬if_t=group_comment¬if_id=1499827866556511
Hi Ana, of course your work here is awesome, but would love to know how you very gracefully adjust your point of view, and pan around with no effort. All while keeping your mouse still. I have a logitech mx master mouse but I'm not sure mine can perform this magic. Thanks
Hi Jere, thank you for your comment. I am using a 3D SpaceMouse Pro from 3DConnexion and it is indeed a great help with CAD. Here's their website: www.3dconnexion.eu/products/spacemouse.html They do have a couple of options with different prices and functionaties. If you are mainly looking for the navigation tool I would recommend a SpaceNavigator, which is quite compact and does the job. Hope this helps!
Hi Thamees! You can download Fusion360 here: autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview Also, it's free if you are a student, educator, enthusiast, hobbyist, or a start-up :)
love your shirt. I'd love to have one. Excellent video. I'm an Inventor user but Fusion 360 is simply incredible. I fell in love right away.

explain how to make it from begining
Thank you for this, it answered a lot of questions i had!
great work
at first i just looking for some tutorial to have fun with fusion, but wow you amaze me
Very impressive work.
nice beginning of having fun with fusion :)

Hi Augusto, I am using an Assus X555L : i7 Intel-core CPU Up To 3.0 GHz 920M NVIDIA Graphic. Hope this helps!

were you a product design student?
Hi Justin, no, I am studying Physics at Uni, but last year I started doing some CAD work in Fusion for Autodesk.
wow that is awesome..........
Can you show any bike modeling tutorial
Hay Ana .
how i get the software ?
i am 3d designer and mold designer mostly used PowerShape.
Fusion looking more flexible.
