Together with the Marmoucha Orchestra, Mohamed Ahaddaf presents his latest album 'ANA W'INTA.' This marks the fourth album of the beloved oud player and composer, who has been an indispensable part of the Marmoucha Orchestra since 2019. Ahaddaf is deeply rooted in Andalusian culture and Arabic music, and his impressive performances have garnered attention both nationally and internationally. He has performed on prestigious stages, including the Oud Festival in Tétouan, Morocco, and in countries such as Israel, South Korea, and the United States.
The new album by Ahaddaf, 'ANA W'INTA,' which means 'You and I' in Arabic, is an intensely personal work. The talented oud player has translated both the highs and lows of recent years into music, with each song representing a significant event. The project includes collaborative arrangements and co-compositions by Arin Keshishi, Maripepa Contreras, and Avishai Darash, each contributing to the depth and resonance of the album's narrative character. The result is ten diverse musical stories, imbued with the melancholic, joyous, and serene sounds of the oud, and enhanced by the beautiful interplay of the passionate musicians of the Marmoucha Orchestra. 'ANA W'INTA' offers a broad spectrum of sounds that touch the audience with their authenticity and emotional depth.
