Otto please help me. Io want to buy mi first gimbal. Io research just a ginbal can Tracking my hand or object. Example when i open pokemon card or one piece. Then just m7 can trsck objects example hands? Or dji osmo 6 too? M6 can track solo face? Thanks for help!
@@OttoJulian_I was just searching this comparison exactly on google, would love a video comparison of them. Also, how the AI tracking is for faster moving sports like snowboarding
Great video, as usual. I'm guessing a more in-depth review will be coming in the next couple of weeks? And, what about a comparison against the M6? One question I'm sure many will have is, for those owning the M5 & M6, is it truly worth upgrading to the M7...I'm sure, for M5 owners, it will be, but how much is it really worth it for current M6 owners? From my experience with cell phones, sometimes it can really be worth it to get the 'next gen' model...but, at other times, it's sometimes been proven it's better to skip one, or even two, generations. That's why I'm asking (for M5 & M6 owners).
Yeah more videos will be coming soon. Is is worth to upgrade? It depends on how you feel about the new upgrades. Stabilization is just about the same compared to the M6 but the features are a big jump. I would sell my M6 for this one. BTW, there was no M5, the M6 was their first gimbal for this lineup
@OttoJulian_ Understood on the 'M5'. I just assumed, based on numbering, there might have been. As for whether, or not, to upgrade, I'll wait for your next videos.
Peace be with you! Thank you soo much for reviewing Hohem's NEW iSteady M7. While the gimbal is innovative, I would like to see its innovations migrate to their iSteady MT2 as that gimbal can be used with Mirrorless Cameras. Bluetooth connection to some Mirrorless Cameras is not possible. The "Detachable Touchscreen Remote" may be better served on the MT2. Thanks again.
No offence, but i think everywhere is copying DJI at this point bcuz of how good DJI is and lots of companys are trying to copy DJI's style of their products lol
none taken, but I don't see how this is "copying DJI" except maybe for the menu layout, but the OM6 has nothing that this gimbal does and DJI should actually copy a thing or 2 from these companies that are trying to bring new things to the table. Fun fact: most gimbals had an M button for the gimbal mode while DJI refused/ignored this important feature until recently. I guess DJI is also looking at these brands and "copied" that...
I’m still waiting for DJI to come out with another phone gimbal, since Insta360 Flow pro just got released this year and Hohem iSteady M7 on this video. Haven’t heard of any news or rumours about it, so I assume that DJI won’t be releasing any updated phone gimbal and focusing more on Action 5 pro and (maybe) Successor to Pocket 3. I disagree with your point about other companies copying DJI. When DJI released Action series, there are definitely buzz about it “copying” GoPro Hero series since it looked like one, but in my opinion, DJI slowly overtake GoPro Hero with every updated model, and finally, Action 5. So it is not them copying GoPro; It’s Innovation and refining already-existing technology. I mean if the other action camera release a new one without screen, it will get criticized. If they included screen and features similar to DJI, then they will be labeled as DJI’s copy, so there is no right way to win this battle. I’m impressed by M7’s feature to have wireless detachable remote and screen. Their tracking devices have been improving greatly ever since I saw it being used for their 2021 isteady v2 phone gimbal. I welcome this kind of innovations where each companies try to outdo each other and brings more features and technology for consumers and prosumers.

Is the MT2 comparable to this in terms of tracking?
@@bishfrie the tracking is better on the M7, I noticed it is stickier to the main subject. Once locked in, the movements are going to be the same

What do you see as the best and most comprehensive of everything?
Hohem isteady m7 or zhiyun smooth 5s AI

@@GixrGuy yeah that’s right! We will have to see but I guess most features will be present there
Is the tracking good enough to track a ball in a soccer match ? If so, it's an instant buy for me ❤
Sorry, the ball on a soccer match travels at very high speeds, goes behind players and it's just going to be impossible to keep tracking it
So you have to balance this Gimbal like the MT2?
Not really. Just the roll axis but it’s very simple

DJI doesn't have independent AI tracking attachment. This is really helpful for solo content creator.

For me and many other 'occasional' videographers, it's too big and bulky, no matter how good it is.
You have a good point, a compact gimbal might be the way to go if someone feels that this is too big.
