If everything lands then my meter fills after 2 Spinning Swords, 2 WS, 1 GS, 1 FC. The CD gem on WS helps sync with Spinning Sword. Also, I only use GS once so CD gem doesn't help much there (unless I miss).
Can I play punisher even without purple wealth runes? And at 1500+ spec? Or is it trash DPS…. Those are the last two runes who left…. I must w8 till that special Island spawns 🥲🥲
You might need around 1700-1800 spec without purple wealth Not having enough spec will delay your rotation by a lot if you can't build within 1.5 cycles
I like your build, but have you noticed any difference in not having the mobilitie skill over another meter generator skill? Like more dps or a smoother rotation? Im wondering because I play the 1 cycle build but i like how mobile and smooth your slayer looks
Damage should be similar but you take longer to build up and skills sync up with when you burst. What mainly sold me was not having to use Squall on Spinning Sword.
I don't really understand the purpose of going Punisher with fast casting tripods, you deal even less dmg per skill than my Predator Slayer with the downside of having to build meter to use your burst skills. Shouldn't be better to use the casting tripods on Brutal and Guillotine to actually get more damage out of your burst mode? The whole point of Punisher is to burst harder than Predator, but if you sacrifice that dmg for smooth gameplay, why don't use Predator instead?
Your claims that Predator's skills hit harder than Punisher's skills in burst and that Predator bursts harder than Punisher are very inaccurate. However, I encourage you to try things out yourself and see what works for you.
@@kayeser2729 No, what i said is YOUR skills hit for less than my skills on my Predator build, Punisher do hit harder because of the spec scaling and engraving, but the dps is lower when you sacrifice dmg for confort by using fast casting tripods instead of what you should use on Punisher, i have both builds, and using fast casting tripods over casting tripods on Punisher is just a waste, both builds can do similar dps (Predator has a better performance on raids but is not so much of a difference), but when you put tripods like that, then the value of Punisher goes to the sink, what's the point of using a burst build with huge numbers if you use a tripod that gives 23% less damage on your main dmg skill? Is not about trying things, is about common sense, if you want a confort playstyle you can always use Predator, mixing both builds will only ruin your dps.
It only takes a few minutes to test in Trixion: Punisher's Brutal deals 83 mil while Predator's Brutal deals 60 mil with the same tripods. The whole point of Punisher is to land their burst on the back to deal close to Igniter burst damage. That means 2 Furious Claws, 2 Guillotines, 1 Brutal Impact, 1 Volcanic Eruptions, and Bloodlust (most important skill that's probably over 30% of their damage) within 15 seconds.
@@kayeser2729 The whole point of Punisher is to have way more dmg during burst mode, your damage per skill during burst mode is similar to my Predator Slayer, if you're trading a faster gameplay with low cooldowns for raw damage (Punisher), your raw damage should be a lot bigger than the less bursty version of the class, if you're trading all of what Predator offer for just a little bit more of damage during burst mode, and you know you deal 0 dmg outside burst, what's the point of using Punisher? You fail to understand that i'm not only talking about the numbers on the skills, but also the frecuency of the hits and the amount of damage very hit has, the only 2 skills making a difference here are Volcanic and Guillotine that both are hitting hard during burst, but your Brutal with a Predator tripod is doing almost the same if not the same as it does on a Predator build, and outside your burst mode a Predator build still deal between 20m to 40m per filler skill, if you're not taking advantage of the huge boost from Punisher by using every tripod that increase your damage even if it is slower, the potential for Punisher goes to the sink, on an already underperforming build from the Slayer. I got it, you are the mvp on that raid so you don''t feel like you're lacking dps, but the truth is, your build can do so much more if you sacrifice a bit of confort for more damage. Anyway, play as you want, i'm pretty sure some day you will actually try to improve and see my point. Good luck.
Punisher is harder to play but not underperforming compared to Predator. Just be wary and good luck to you because Slayer is an Entropy class at the end of the day. If you don't hit the back then your damage plummets.

try to replace ground smash with punishing draw if you can get more spec
