☁︎ It's been a while since my last video! Thank you so much for all the love, comments and new subscribers! I'm away from home and edited this video using my Iphone 13. The unboxing video was taken before I left and I just got the free time to edit it alongside traveling and work. So there might be changes to my usual theme and video content!
☁︎ This is just an unboxing video and a quick comparison to the Hybrid Liplay that I got a year ago. This is just to showcase the features and its amazing design. An In-depth review would make the video too long and there are lots of talented youtubers out there that might have already done it so feel free to search them up!

I also gave in to this kasi mas retro feel over liplay kaso tbh mas polaroid feels ang product ni liplay over retro pero still looks good. Payo ko step down kayo -1/3 sa exposure para mas balanse sa normal shots. Same as sa mga vlogs
If you could only choose between mini lipplay and mini evo, which one would you choose? Which model do you think is better?
Both are amazing but considering the different filters and effects on the Evo plus the separate buttons/analogs for each it made it easier for me to utilize it with just simple turns/scroll. But for picture quality and printing both are almost the same! I think it really goes down to the physical design and accessibility for the user ❤️

No not really! You just got to be careful each time you do take it off and put it on the case because it’s an exact fit~ i think it’s impossible you’ll get scratches from it as long as it’s the right way. Or you could just remove the top case where the film door is so you wouldn’t have to take it all out 😊

Do you prefer using an actual camera or a phone camera? I still like the feeling of older film cams.
Nothing compares to professional cameras and especially film cameras. I’ve always viewed photos produced by film cameras that it has a lot more sentimental values than those edited/filtered through a phone. I mostly use what’s easier to carry than both or three cameras at once, it also depends where and what I’m taking photos of, film cameras gives a lot of natural beauty so I love to use it outdoors or with people.
I just purchased for mini Liplay .... and then I found out your video 😭😭
Do you still use Liplay? There're any differences in term of quality..
Hi! I sold my Liplay after getting the mini evo just because I wanted the extra features (analog for filters etc) but in terms of Quality i think it’s the same! It’s both great, it all just comes down to the added features (QR Code sound on the Liplay & Retro style of the Evo) 🙌

Yes! definitely still working. I mostly use it as an instax printer and just print photos I take from my phone or DSLR. But it does have better print output when the photos is shot from the actual evo.

It said that printing films can lasts 100 only and the battery is not changeable. And disposed after it runs out. Is still worth buying it?
Battery is not changeable but it is rechargeable and I don't think there's a limit to the number of prints that it can do. I've printed almost over 100 and it's still working okay. It's a digital instax camera hybrid that allows you to choose your photos before printing it, for me it is still worth buying if you worry about using too much prints.
The regular instax cameras are still worth it and less expensive compared to the mini evo but you do have less control over your photos and it's outputs and most models are battery-operated.
@@francesetup i think i just misunderstood it. I saw someone said that every recharge can give 100 prints. But mini evo gives unlimited shots right?
Oh hahaha it might be about how many prints it could make after a full-battery charge. It's probably about the battery life.
And yes, as long as it's fully charged it can give you unlimited shots just like a usual digital camera. @@karissaicon5110

Thank you! And Yes, you can choose to just take photos and choose to print them afterwards. You can store a lot of photos with the memory card and import them into your devices din 😊

Yes! best thing about this is you can take as many shots as you can without having to refill the film and with the SD it can store a lot of photos even if you only get the 16GB. You can also transfer photos using the SD card to your PC, but transferring from EVO to Phone via bluetooth is only available when the chosen photo is already printed into film.

Yes, you can take as many digital photos as your SD card can store. i think same brand lang din yung sa Liplay ko last time which is yung Lexar? but I do think SD cards on the hybrid cameras don't have much restrictions, usually my purchased cameras already includes SD cards provided by the seller ^^ But do double check for what I experience Samsung brand SD cards only work on specific devices.

Hello~ My sister and I had the Mini 11 (detachable battery) and still works well even though we don’t use it often but I don’t think it’s different to the liplay and evo in terms of the quality~ If you’re planning on getting the hybrids it’s all about taking care of not overcharging or letting the battery get drained to 0. I’m not always using my Evo and I just had it for a few months but I make sure that it’s always charged. The same goes to my Liplay. I think it’s advisable to not keep the film inside for longer periods without use since it may be the cause of damage on the camera and a waste of film ☺️
If you’re planning to buy one but you know you won’t use it always I think the ones with a replaceable battery would be nice. Iba padin quality ng instant prints non~ yung hybrids kasi parang digital camera nadin na you can choose not to print as soon as you click so in the long run it may get battery issues since it’s not replaceable even if you use it often or not ❤️ hope I helped!

will you be able to transfer the photos to your phone incase you dont want to print it?
Hi! only printed photos can be transferred via app/bluetooth but if you want to transfer all photos you’ll have to import them to your computer using the SD card 😊

@@karinemanaia9224 hello! There’s no need to transfer from phone to evo, you can use the mini evo app to directly print your photos from your phone 😊 (used google translate hope I got your question right) ❤

does the case scratch the camera after refilling the film for many times?
Hi! Not really of you’re really careful~ it’s a very precise fit so it is a struggle sometimes but I haven’t seen any scratches yet so that’s good 😅

Thanks for the review how long would you say the battery life lasts?
I'd say about 2 days of constant use and 3 days or more if you just happen to want to take a pic of something quick? making sure that I turn it off after because it does go to sleep/turns off even if I don't turn the switch button to off so I think that's what drains the battery even more.
what to do if films cant be detected? 😢
Hi! Haven’t had this issue before but I did read some of similar issues on Reddit. Users recommend trying to fully charge the camera then removing and putting back the films (in a dark place) Or maybe try to at least give it time without the films and try re-inserting it. Hope it helps! 🤔

will soon travel to Disney and I want to buy a camera…. I still haven't decided between a Sony compact and the Instax printer or the Instax mini evo camera.😅
I guess the questions you might want to consider is: what quality and style do you might want to have for your photos? especially digital photo quality is quite different from instax cameras. Even printing digital photos using instax printers.
As well as the size and functionality of the cameras especially if you plan on traveling with it. it's definitely a tough decision! Good luck ^^
