She has made sure that I have never gone to bed once worrying about whether I can pay my rent tomorrow, put food in my fridge, have gas in my car to get to my hematologist appointments or pay a bill. I'm surviving through this only because of her. Neither one has been cured. It's crazy what I have gone through. 14 hospital stays totaling somewhere around 50 nights, 54 blood transfusions, and 36 IVIg infusion treatments. Not a step closer to being cured. I couldn't imagine talking to my mother like that!!!!!! I would hurt someone if I heard them talking like that to their mother or grandmother. They are your protectors and will do anything to play that role for their children, even the adult ones. I know this because mine is doing it right now.
