  • In this video I had a relaxing solo evening in an old bushcraft shelter that has seen its better days. I cooked homemade chili over the campfire and built a quick style tripod. (no complicated lashing) The temps ranged from 28F down to 14F during the night. I finally got to test my new winter sleeping bag that I bought from Western Mountaineering and it was very warm and comfortable. There is enough room to but some clothing and all my camera batteries in the foot box to keep then warm. Thanks for watching and I really appreciate the support.

What brand of hand saw do you have. Excellent video.

I use Silky Saw for all my hand saws. The one in this video is the silky bigboy 360mm. They make really good quality saws out of Japanese steel.
