This guy is one of the most level headed Bears fan/writers I’ve listened to! I don’t think they make the Playoffs this season, but I’m a little scared of them if Caleb Williams pans out.
6'1" 215 .... Health is going to be an issue - thats kinda small and you don't see every hit before it happens.
Didn't they say that Fields would be The MVP last year, the Lions are a more complete team. Caleb has not faced a really good defense, plus Didn't take one snap under center.
And they ruin QBs
Bears fans were going to the SB last year according to this guy...it's embarrassing...they come up with some delusional stuff on why they're going to be good...none of it has to do with previous winning...it's always so obscure stat or silly takes like because CJ Stroud was good we'll be good

I love guys like this. He literally thinks a first-round quarterback will get you to the super bowl. I realize they have a decent team but it's never happened in the history of football, a rookie going to the super bowl
Every year the Bears think this. It’s adorable. They were a minor threat when Fields was their QB because the Lions struggled with mobile QBs (I think this d-line will hold up better to them with Reader and Terrell Williams as the coach of that line). The Bears aren’t remotely a threat until they prove it first. They remind me a lot of the Lions of yore, frankly. The Bears have only BARELY been less inept than the Lions historically and if not for the Lions being SO bad, THEY would be the laughing stock of the NFL for the past 30 years. They get pieces here and there but never do anything with it while the front offices fumbles the bag. Literally, exactly like the Lions past 15 years. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Caleb will be very good. Good chance it happens immediately. If you thought CJ Stroud was good then wait till you see Caleb. As far as prospect grades go, he beats out CJ slightly and every other QB in the last decade. But CJ was a much better leader and more mature. Either way Caleb and CJ were the best QB prospects since Luck. So good chance Chicago is .500 or slightly above (1-2 games) .500 next year. This guy was spot on. There is a good chance Lions lose once to the Bears again this year.

I no longer root for Detroit because of Goff,NBC Chicago announced they have the blueprint on Jared Goff and proved it Goff was trash,We will sweep Detroit and at some point Lion brass will realize they made a huge mistake in the building process,the Chief cornerstone is the QB position,GOFF IS TRASH and my Lions are in trouble,thats what they get subbing their nose at HH for Goff
