I wonder how many people here remember Lance (Lance Guest) from "The Last Starfighter". One of the first movies my former wife and I ever saw together.
Linda Kelsey is great in this episode - I would love to know what five episodes she submitted for Emmy consideration for each season - she was nominated all five seasons and lost 4 times to Nancy Marchand and once to Kristy McNichol for Family.
His name was Vincent Baggetta and among his other credits played the lead in The Eddie Capra Mysteries. A pretty cool show that could've lasted longer if given the chance.
Ed Asner maintained 'Lou Grant' was cancelled because Reagan was angry at some storylines but Asner looks old in the last Season & the character could not have gone on for much longer as an Editor? Do Editors retire or work until they drop! Same for Charlie Hume, both he Lou were "in their 50's" when the series started. Mrs P, altho made more vibrant, ironically, as the Seasons went on, was also not young. So, the series would not have continued for much longer even without Reagan's implied interference, surely.
Every Episode..Done Well..
Thank You
thank you
Love it, thanks

He made me think of Ellis from "Die Hard." Again, a remarkable simulation.
