The general consensus on Eri rewinding All Might is that it wouldn't bring his quirk back! OFA is not a normal quirk like Mirio's , which could be restored because it was simply damaged. All Might passed his quirk on to another person, and that quirk now fully resides in Deku. It can't exist in two places at once. It's never been discussed in the story itself, but based on what we know about OFA and Rewind that's what makes sense.
It's still kinda confusing how that works because All Might still used OFA despite passing his quirk. I never understood how he was able to still use it 😕 It's a gamble if Eri's rewind would work on All Might or not. But for plot, it can't be done because All Might's just too OP.

Furthermore, everybody forgets that Allmight was quirkless before receiving OFA, so rewinding him would just fix the physical trauma he sustained during his first battle against All For One, but he would still be quirkless!

Less like flipping a switch and more like draining a pool. Giving the quirk to Deku was the equivalent of pulling the plug. It's the impedance for All Might loosing his quirk, but would take some time to fully feel the effects. Using the same metaphor for the Rewind situation, repairing the pool won't refill it with water.

Overhaul lost both his arms. Mr. Compress compressed one as revenge for losing his hand, and shiggy decayed the other arm and chopped it off to stop the spread
Her power would solve alot of problems tho. Almost every issue, she could turn all might back to his prime, heal all the hurt heros. Probably turn shigariki back to base form. Undo the Nomus maybe make them people again.

She had a big horn before she rewinded mirio and in ep7 when she was shown with all might,she had a very small horn showing that just 1use on an adult human body used all the energy she had stored up for 6months since season 4. So you can see why she can't use it repeatedly and frequently.

Bit of info the anime left out. If the government determines you or your quirk are dangerous enough you can be locked up in Tartarus without ever being convicted of a crime
The show already explained this, but the reason Eri can't rewind is because she has to recharge her power within her horn for a full rewind. It took a full 3 months between season 4 and 6 for her horn to fully grow out and rewind Lemillion with.
Its actually 6months as mirio himself says he's been out of the hero work for 6 months when he came back. Also, there was a 3months timeskip in the ep25 of s5 alone.

2 reasons Eri can't just get All Might back to his glory days: 1. She needs to build enough energy up to rewind anything and her horn was tiny again (ie no power left) after using her power on Lemillion. 2. She's still in training and is just getting the hang of using her quirk. It's been 6 months since her rescue and she's been training for ~3 months. Bonus Points: There's no guarantee All Might would get a second One For All even if he was rewound because of the nature of the quirk. He could end up being just a buff, quirkless bodybuilder.

Her horn represents how much energy she has built up, and after she uses it, it gets smaller and then slowly grows back over time (a few months or so). She just finished using it up on Lemillion so its prob small again. But there could also be a question of they probably don't wanna just treat her as a rewind machine. In a way using her for her power like how she was already being used. Although these are dire times, I wouldn't put it past the heroes to feel that way about it.

1 Stain was THERE! He was that long black hair looking dude that was hiding behind a wall when the inmates were running to freedom! Guess he doesn't associated himself with them? 2 Moonfish didn't took the Quirk enhancing drug and fought Kirashima! It was a thug that had a similar power but from his body than his teeth! Moonfish was one of the villians that attack the Pussycat camp and fought Tokoyami and Shoji at first and was the reason why Shoji had one of his tentacle severed!
About the six out of seven prisons with a lot of criminals freed, we only now learnt what happened to the seventh prison in the manga. So I'm not spoiling but I also just remembered it was mentioned that early

Moonfish was captured in S3 during the training camp arc. The guy yall thought of was just some street random who took a drug to make his quirk temporarily boosted. It was VERY similar though so I dont blame ya. Moonfish's power is already OP without any drugs though.
People misinterpret Deku's words. The prison doesn't just hold super criminals. It holds anyone with dangerous quirks. Meaning you could be just a civilian who has done nothing wrong but still have your ass locked up just because of the potential threat you posses.

It is always described as a prison for villains that have committed crimes and who's quirks are too dangerous for standard prisons. He even says what level the prisoners are on are based off the danger of the quirk and the severity of their crimes

as mentioned in season 4 and 5, eri's power is cumulative, you can see it by her horn, when she used all her energy with deku to defeat overhaul her horn became small, and for 2 season it has been growing. she used all that energy accumulated in mirio to just give her back the power, she no longer has any more. She means that if she was going to rewind someone she would have to wait until the horn grows back. And also if he rewinds All Might, the only thing he would do is make him have his organs again but he would not have the power because now Deku has it and if he rewinds it he would not have the power with him because biologically he is not from All Might, he was just a wielder but it's not his biologically like mirio's power.
Stain was standing against the wall right when all the inmates were running down the hallway. This was a few seconds before they showed the lady with the Purple hair running and before she helped Overhaul.
Because Eri’s control isn’t perfect yet, All Might would need to be rewound more than 6 years at this point to revert him back to before he was wounded by AFO. But most importantly even if she did he no longer has any trace of OFA in his body so all that would happen is he’d be a very fit person without a quirk
With Eri she wanted to help Mirio because she felt responsible for mirio quirk lost. Also the way Eri quirk works is it needs to be recharged after being used so she can’t just spam it on everybody so rn she’s tapped out
lets be real tho, who would be better to use it first on? imagine if all might got rewound and was able to have one last fight with one for all now that his body could handle what he has left, the heroes might have won the fight last arc
@Madolche All Might being rewound has too many complications. For starters, that's attempting to rewind a wound that at least 5 plus years old. That's a lot of energy that needs to be built up. And second, even if you heal All Mights body, there's no point because his quirk won't come back.

Huge yikes. Because it's not just a place for people who've done crimes. No, it's a place for people with quirks that are already a danger or could POTENTIALLY be a danger. Meaning you could be thrown into a prison where the guards consider you lesser than animals and your rights are constantly being violated, just for having a quirk you were born with. Like, imagine if Shinso or Monoma didn't enroll to UA and just wanted to live normal lives. But they either get scooped up by the Safety Commission to do shady things or literally thrown into prison. That is actually awful. So depending on the quirk you were born with, you only have four options. One, get completely shunned from society, two, get lucky on the slight chance to get into UA or some other hero profession, three, have to potentially "take people out" for very shady people, or four, be stuck in prison and be treated like an animal. Now, I don't agree with Tomura's ideology(though it's more like AFO's ideology he created from grooming a child into hating things) about destroying ALL of hero society. But I do think there definitely needs to be some changes. Especially considering some of the things that happen behind closed doors in this world Anyway, a shot of All For One's dump truck is not an anime original addition I thought we'd get. But here we are. All jokes aside, Spinner deserves some credit. He felt comfortable enough to grab Tomura(a man who could decay him in a second) by the collar. And THEN he talked back to the Demon Lord TWICE. And basically told him that he's not the guy he wants. Our boy Spinner has nerves of steel. Spinner. He's a normal guy. But his quirk makes him look like a lizard. And people discriminated against him for that. When he first joined the League, he was all about Stain. But as time went on, he slowly found himself being more comfortable stepping away from Stain and seeing what Shigaraki could do. To the point where they bonded together with video games and fought together in MVA. Shigaraki has never treated Spinner as lesser because of his quirk. He never forced Twice to duplicate himself when he had the mental block. He told Toga he would avoid destroying things she loved. He lets Dabi do as he pleases. He was worried about Compress leaping to fight Overhaul. Shigaraki treats the members of his team as equals. Family. Regardless of their backgrounds. Which is why Spinner appreciated him so much. So when AFO decides to suddenly try to put himself in his body, Spinner is immediately opposed. Moving on, we have a prison break episode. Stain, Moonfish, Muscular, Overhaul. All freed. It's a good thing the prison break happened before Machia was able to be transferred. Because imagine if after all of the effort to put this man to sleep, AFO just immediately breaks him out again. But even without Machia, having several near high ends and two people with the AFO quirk is still super dangerous. Not to mention the rest of the League. One thing I think the anime left out is that before AFO wraps Tomura up, he actually tries to decay AFO's vestige for a third time. AFO constantly talks about how Tomura always surpasses his expectations. And that boy isn't going to give his body up without a massive fight. I have a feeling underestimating Tomura's tenacity is going to be his downfall. One thing to note is that the Tomura/AFO situation might get a bit confusing. In the manga, Tomura tends to use the phrase, "Ore" when referring to himself. Whereas AFO tends to use the more polite, "Boku". And as we saw in this episode, sometimes Tomura or AFO will randomly grab control of the body in the middle of a sentence. And sometimes they even speak at the same time. Unlike the manga, there isn't a translator or italics to show a differentiation between Ore and Boku. So it might be a bit difficult to tell if it's Tomura talking, AFO talking or both talking at first. And since the dub can't use Ore or Boku, I'm very curious how they'll handle this moving forward

Understandable how people would mis-remember the fight with Moonfish (I did too), however Moonfish actually fought Todoroki and Bakugo during the summer training arc (same as the Muscle dude). Red Riot fought a "knock-off" version of Moonfish that had blades coming out of any part of his body. Not just his teeth! Such a gnarly episode, great reaction.
Eri's quirk works of the amassing of energy (related directly to the size of her horn) She expends all of this energy in the fight with overhaul, it then takes her 6 months to build up enough energy to rewind Mirio to his pre deletor quirk status (occoured 6 months prior). All mights injuries have been lingering for years and his quirk wasn't deleted it was passed on through One for All, Eri would have to stockpile years of energy just to heal his wounds and One for All would have to willingly part ways with Deku to get his powers back
"2 days later it is done!" LOL I don't blame any of the reactors who missed Stain. They should have given him a title card just like they did for Moonfish and Overhaul and them. But Eri can't rewind All Might because he literally doesn't have the quirk anymore. He was using the last of its embers after he gave it to Midoriya. It doesn't exist in his body anymore.
This is like Batman: Arkham and PlayStation Spider-Man. Mass prison break and chaos everywhere. What I’m loving about this season is that, now more than ever, we really see the dark side of Quirk/Hero Society. We get a good long look of why people like the League of Villains, the Liberation Front and those Tartarus guards hate this society and the want to see it gone. Quirks completely destroyed what “normal society” was, and it was restructured dramatically and the new normal creates these serious issues. Now it’s time for this society to get destroyed too. And it also proved that, even though All Might did a good job a being a hero and defeating any villains that showed up, he did not change the deep rooted issues that have been festering in the shadow of Hero Society. The bigotry, the resentment, the lying, scheming, hubris and unnecessary sacrifices… none of that when away when All Might was there. These are also the issue that the next generation of heroes need to fight against and fix. Not just to be better heroes, but to be better men and women.

Moonfish is the guy who attacked Bakugou and Shouto during the Wild Wild Pussycats training arc. Dark Shadow goes crazy and knocks him out. I have no idea why Eri can't heal All might but I think it's because, to take his body back to a point where he isn't harmed, it'd have to be when he still had One for All. I don't think Izuku and All might can share the quirk at full power together. All might had the embers for a handful of months before being transferred entirely to Izuku. I'm assuming a similar power struggle would occur if Eri were to interfere.

Micky, we've been through this. Eri can't rewind Allmight anymore, because he gave away One For All to Deku. Just like Deku, Allmight was quirkless before receiving One For All from the previous user. Sure, it would be nice for him to have his physical injuries fixed by the rewind, but he would still be unable to help and Eri still has troubles using her quirk, so it's a gamble.

1 Stain was THERE! He was that long black hair looking dude that was hiding behind a wall when the inmates were running to freedom! Guess he doesn't associated himself with them?
2 Moonfish didn't took the Quirk enhancing drug and fought Kirashima! It was a thug that had a similar power but from his body than his teeth! Moonfish was one of the villians that attack the Pussycat camp and fought Tokoyami and Shoji at first and was the reason why Shoji had one of his tentacle severed!

Moonfish fought bakugo and todoroki in the training camp and he got torn apart by tokoyami when he lost it.
Moonfish was captured in S3 during the training camp arc. The guy yall thought of was just some street random who took a drug to make his quirk temporarily boosted. It was VERY similar though so I dont blame ya. Moonfish's power is already OP without any drugs though.
People misinterpret Deku's words. The prison doesn't just hold super criminals. It holds anyone with dangerous quirks.
Meaning you could be just a civilian who has done nothing wrong but still have your ass locked up just because of the potential threat you posses.
pretty sure you are the one misinterpreting something. Nowhere is it ever stated or implied that innocent people are locked up in Tartarus because their quirks are dangerous. It is always described as a prison for villains that have committed crimes and who's quirks are too dangerous for standard prisons. He even says what level the prisoners are on are based off the danger of the quirk and the severity of their crimes

If Eri was not adopted and watched over by Aizawa, Tartarus is where she would be. as mentioned in season 4 and 5, eri's power is cumulative, you can see it by her horn, when she used all her energy with deku to defeat overhaul her horn became small, and for 2 season it has been growing.
she used all that energy accumulated in mirio to just give her back the power, she no longer has any more. She means that if she was going to rewind someone she would have to wait until the horn grows back.
And also if he rewinds All Might, the only thing he would do is make him have his organs again but he would not have the power because now Deku has it and if he rewinds it he would not have the power with him because biologically he is not from All Might, he was just a wielder but it's not his biologically like mirio's power.
Stain was standing against the wall right when all the inmates were running down the hallway. This was a few seconds before they showed the lady with the Purple hair running and before she helped Overhaul.

Because Eri’s control isn’t perfect yet, All Might would need to be rewound more than 6 years at this point to revert him back to before he was wounded by AFO. But most importantly even if she did he no longer has any trace of OFA in his body so all that would happen is he’d be a very fit person without a quirk

lets be real tho, who would be better to use it first on? imagine if all might got rewound and was able to have one last fight with one for all now that his body could handle what he has left, the heroes might have won the fight last arc
@Madolche All Might being rewound has too many complications. For starters, that's attempting to rewind a wound that at least 5 plus years old. That's a lot of energy that needs to be built up. And second, even if you heal All Mights body, there's no point because his quirk won't come back.

Tartarus is a big yikes. Huge yikes. Because it's not just a place for people who've done crimes. No, it's a place for people with quirks that are already a danger or could POTENTIALLY be a danger. Meaning you could be thrown into a prison where the guards consider you lesser than animals and your rights are constantly being violated, just for having a quirk you were born with.
Like, imagine if Shinso or Monoma didn't enroll to UA and just wanted to live normal lives. But they either get scooped up by the Safety Commission to do shady things or literally thrown into prison. That is actually awful. So depending on the quirk you were born with, you only have four options. One, get completely shunned from society, two, get lucky on the slight chance to get into UA or some other hero profession, three, have to potentially "take people out" for very shady people, or four, be stuck in prison and be treated like an animal. Now, I don't agree with Tomura's ideology(though it's more like AFO's ideology he created from grooming a child into hating things) about destroying ALL of hero society. But I do think there definitely needs to be some changes. Especially considering some of the things that happen behind closed doors in this world
Anyway, a shot of All For One's dump truck is not an anime original addition I thought we'd get. But here we are. All jokes aside, Spinner deserves some credit. He felt comfortable enough to grab Tomura(a man who could decay him in a second) by the collar. And THEN he talked back to the Demon Lord TWICE. And basically told him that he's not the guy he wants. Our boy Spinner has nerves of steel.
Spinner. He's a normal guy. But his quirk makes him look like a lizard. And people discriminated against him for that. When he first joined the League, he was all about Stain. But as time went on, he slowly found himself being more comfortable stepping away from Stain and seeing what Shigaraki could do. To the point where they bonded together with video games and fought together in MVA. Shigaraki has never treated Spinner as lesser because of his quirk. He never forced Twice to duplicate himself when he had the mental block. He told Toga he would avoid destroying things she loved. He lets Dabi do as he pleases. He was worried about Compress leaping to fight Overhaul. Shigaraki treats the members of his team as equals. Family. Regardless of their backgrounds. Which is why Spinner appreciated him so much. So when AFO decides to suddenly try to put himself in his body, Spinner is immediately opposed.
Moving on, we have a prison break episode. Stain, Moonfish, Muscular, Overhaul. All freed. It's a good thing the prison break happened before Machia was able to be transferred. Because imagine if after all of the effort to put this man to sleep, AFO just immediately breaks him out again. But even without Machia, having several near high ends and two people with the AFO quirk is still super dangerous. Not to mention the rest of the League.
One thing I think the anime left out is that before AFO wraps Tomura up, he actually tries to decay AFO's vestige for a third time. AFO constantly talks about how Tomura always surpasses his expectations. And that boy isn't going to give his body up without a massive fight. I have a feeling underestimating Tomura's tenacity is going to be his downfall.
One thing to note is that the Tomura/AFO situation might get a bit confusing. In the manga, Tomura tends to use the phrase, "Ore" when referring to himself. Whereas AFO tends to use the more polite, "Boku". And as we saw in this episode, sometimes Tomura or AFO will randomly grab control of the body in the middle of a sentence. And sometimes they even speak at the same time. Unlike the manga, there isn't a translator or italics to show a differentiation between Ore and Boku. So it might be a bit difficult to tell if it's Tomura talking, AFO talking or both talking at first. And since the dub can't use Ore or Boku, I'm very curious how they'll handle this moving forward

Understandable how people would mis-remember the fight with Moonfish (I did too), however Moonfish actually fought Todoroki and Bakugo during the summer training arc (same as the Muscle dude). Red Riot fought a "knock-off" version of Moonfish that had blades coming out of any part of his body. Not just his teeth! Such a gnarly episode, great reaction.

Eri's quirk works of the amassing of energy (related directly to the size of her horn) She expends all of this energy in the fight with overhaul, it then takes her 6 months to build up enough energy to rewind Mirio to his pre deletor quirk status (occoured 6 months prior). All mights injuries have been lingering for years and his quirk wasn't deleted it was passed on through One for All, Eri would have to stockpile years of energy just to heal his wounds and One for All would have to willingly part ways with Deku to get his powers back
"2 days later it is done!" LOL I don't blame any of the reactors who missed Stain. They should have given him a title card just like they did for Moonfish and Overhaul and them. But Eri can't rewind All Might because he literally doesn't have the quirk anymore. He was using the last of its embers after he gave it to Midoriya. It doesn't exist in his body anymore.
Episode 17 was the hardest to watch so far to me. Cant wait to see you watch it

What I’m loving about this season is that, now more than ever, we really see the dark side of Quirk/Hero Society. We get a good long look of why people like the League of Villains, the Liberation Front and those Tartarus guards hate this society and the want to see it gone. Quirks completely destroyed what “normal society” was, and it was restructured dramatically and the new normal creates these serious issues. Now it’s time for this society to get destroyed too.
And it also proved that, even though All Might did a good job a being a hero and defeating any villains that showed up, he did not change the deep rooted issues that have been festering in the shadow of Hero Society. The bigotry, the resentment, the lying, scheming, hubris and unnecessary sacrifices… none of that when away when All Might was there. These are also the issue that the next generation of heroes need to fight against and fix. Not just to be better heroes, but to be better men and women.

Stain was shown - he's the guy with the long curly hair standing against the wall when they're showing all of the prisoners breaking out. Moonfish is the guy who attacked Bakugou and Shouto during the Wild Wild Pussycats training arc. Dark Shadow goes crazy and knocks him out. I have no idea why Eri can't heal All might but I think it's because, to take his body back to a point where he isn't harmed, it'd have to be when he still had One for All. I don't think Izuku and All might can share the quirk at full power together. All might had the embers for a handful of months before being transferred entirely to Izuku. I'm assuming a similar power struggle would occur if Eri were to interfere.
bro your saying they should be dead at the start and that there lucky to be alive but deku just said there that a lot of the people in there were just born with very strong super powers that could potentially be a threat so they locked them up there similar to why twice had to join with the league of villians so quickly even though he had only done some petty crimes at the time his quirk was so strong it didn't matter what he had done he was put on the most wanted list. and thats also why the jailer said there fundamentally different because he views them as monsters and freaks because of there super strong abilitys

Micky, we've been through this. Eri can't rewind Allmight anymore, because he gave away One For All to Deku.
Just like Deku, Allmight was quirkless before receiving One For All from the previous user.
Sure, it would be nice for him to have his physical injuries fixed by the rewind, but he would still be unable to help and Eri still has troubles using her quirk, so it's a gamble.
