No, no real major changes. I used things I already had and it worked out pretty well. It’s fairly simple which makes it easy to build or trouble shoot when needed. Perhaps a lighter duty box, this box is quite heavy. Maybe an ammo can so the larger antenna can fit inside it when not in use.
I hope this isn’t a silly question but I just bought the we boost drive 4g-m cell booster. Could I do the same thing you did n it work great too? This red amplifier looks bigger that the one I got. But I figured since I’m going to have the antenna wrapped around my phone anyways what’s it matter, right?😅
does it actualy increase the quality of service? or does it just show more bars? ik on your previous video there were some comments about it not being far enough away from the external antenna. the loopback effect can cause it to show full bars but the actual quality is still bad. but since its supposed to be in a vehicle with the metal panels seperating the 2 antennas. i wonder if thats why you need to have the phone right next to the internal antenna. ive installed probably hundreds of cell boosters in police cars and they do not need to be right next to the antenna like you show. although they also pay 3-4x the price for their stuff but thats also gov price gouging in action there.
It does, I went from not being able to open any webpage to being able to stream videos although it was slow. The realistic expectation is you should be able to browse the Internet for information or send and receive messages.
Nice build! Probably one of the best portable cell boosters i have seen! Thanks!
Thanks!
have you considered mass producing this?
Nah it’s easy enough for anyone to make.
Thanx for the update!! Really helpful!!!
Can I buy one of these from you
Hi, sorry I only have one but its honestly super easy to make. Not even half an hour once you have all of the material.
you should probably make a video show exactly how to make it @@SoCalOutdoors
This is great, thanks for following up. If you had to build it again what are some major changes you would make? Thinking of making one myself!

What are those fins like things at the side if the antenna?
Those are just led lights I use for camping.
