I'm blown away by this. Some say it's as good as a Disney soundtrack. This is Disney after being bitten by the royal vampire. These strings, I'm dying. The best magical haunting music and the best voice ever. She's such a waste for Disney. I want to see her as the main villain for the next Resident Evil video game. She is so majestic and beautiful.

I couldn't help but think while reading your experience that this is exactly what Tarja means with her array of dark Christmas songs... simply creepy or weird would be easy, they sound melancholic, sad, longing at times. The video is hypnotic. The arrangement is so good. That dissonant cello sound is bone chilling. Tarja is dramatic, eccentric, passionate. She transpires all of it just through that gaze. Although she spliced her voice in two, holding back to give it that light vulnerable touch. I think her heavy chest voice would fit like a glove. Stunning work. Stunning. I feel like the most demanding songs are yet to come. Let me reiterate how divine that gown is. The way it cascades, the brocade, so beautiful. So unique. Hair and makeup are so well done too. Congrats to all involved.

Out of all the songs in the album, THIS one is a true horror experience. It is just scary. Could easily be a soundtrack for a horror movie. Amazing composition. Congrats!
This version is quite intriguing, though I admit, I truly love the regular, original Thomas Anders version as well (yes, that does mean I don't think Wham did it first, it had to be Thomas). I would truly love to hear MONO INC do this one or any Christmas song at this point.

Pop is awfully underrated. It actually has deep and rich harmonies. I mean this version is tweaked but still, original already had a lot to play with.
