  • Welcome to CECOT, the world’s largest prison by capacity in El Salvador which was constructed to imprison the worst of the worst.
    Subscribe ► goo.gl/MKi8tn
Those who enter this prison are destined to never leave here. This is the world’s strictest and largest mega prison. It has a capacity of 40,000.
Built in 2022, this massive prison is made up of eight separate modules spread over 410 acres of land. Each pair of modules is enclosed by two separate 3-meter-high walls with razor wire. The entire facility is surrounded by a towering 9-meter-high wall with a 3-meter-high electric fence carrying 15,000 volts. Nineteen watchtowers are ensuring nothing escapes notice. The entire design doesn’t just prevent escape, it erases the very idea of it.
Also, I conducted an exclusive interview with one of the inmates, who is 41 years old. In this interview, he reveals what life inside CECOT is really like.

I am a young Salvadoran and the country has changed drastically since President Bukele took office. Before him, there was a lot of crime and you couldn't go anywhere for the same reason. The gangs and the previous governments were corrupt, but since President Bukele took office, there has been great peace and tranquility in the country. Although some organizations say that the treatment of criminals is wrong, these organizations that protect rights do not know what it was like not to be able to go out on the streets and not feel safe or know If only you could get home alive, the president's term has been a drastic change for the better and only a true Salvadoran who lived through the country's darkest years knows that this term What we have so far has been the best thing that has ever happened to us and now we have gone from being the most unsafe country in the world to one of the safest. Greetings from El Salvador and thanks for making the video ❤

Did you know that children as young as 12 can be arrested and detained indefinitely in one of these prisons recieving no trial for the mere suspicion of gang affiliation? Think of that, children being forced to live in these conditions without even being found guilty. And because of your personal grievence you have now looked upon every single person automatically as deserving of fates worse than death. Even children. If that is the legacy of your uncles death then all it has done is turned you into a monster like the ones you despise.

@retrogaminglibrarythat’s not true. That’s bad information.
First of all anyone capable of killing should be kept away. There are youngsters in gangs and they are also arrested; that’s the law. If anything the parents should be worry for them not the goverment. Parents have kids let’s be responsible for them. The law is the law.
Also there is a trial.. the difference it’s that these are speedy trials.. no long trials like the in USA.

❤Jesus Christ is the only way to be fulfilled. I'm writing this as I just had an encounter with Jesus the Almighty God. I was being tempted by demonic forces. I fell into temptation, and I ran away from the Lord. This hasn't been the first time. I have been on a on and off cycle which seemed to be an endless. But today, I feel called to share this testimony. I watched a video which really opened my eyes while I was still "hiding" from God. It touched my soul to the point that I fell on my knees right away, and begged for forgiveness and guidance. This was beyond anyother feeling I've felt while repenting. This one felt true. I had been like mad at God for being dumped by my this girl I was talking to. So this was a way to be tempted by evil demonic forces. I would get intrusive thoughts, and I kept trying to solve this feeling of being dumped on worldly things. And let me tell you, it only makes it worse. If you're someone who is not sure if you're saved, or if you are saved, but have been going through these on and off cycles such as porn, or secular music(which are other cycles I've been having a difficult time with) I want you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If you don't know what to do, I want you to get on your knees, and pray this prayer with your heart:
Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and was ressurected on the third day. I believe you came to the Earth, to pay for our sins. Thank you for dieing on the cross for my sins, in Your Name, I pray, amen.
I don't know who is reading this, but if you ever fill an empty whole, which cannot be fulfilled, the only way to fulfill is by Jesus. When you turn your back on Jesus, you seek everything other then him. All worldly things, will never fill that hole.
      God Bless Yall!
      ❤😊

They're being treated like animals. I also worry that some people who were NOT hardened gang members like this got swept up in arrests. Most people get into shit because its fast money and no age requirement. Most come from poor families and want a way out but don't realize you get locked in. It's not like Gangs in the US, even in the 70s Gangs in the US had nothing on the brutality of other countries. Once committed theres not much turning back. You ride out what you chose to do and your family lives. You fuck around and they will find out, family dead then you. Harsh reality but probably not far off. In 1 year I went from being someone who never smoked weed to having 7 people under me, stole 60k usd, went on the run for a week before slipping up, felt more comfortable around people with 100k extacy pills and guns than kids in school and much more. Shit gets real, quick. I had to slow down and collect myself, I was 15yo in central ny state. In Mexico. I'd of been one of these people. I still stand by what I did and respect the hustle. As fucked as it sounds I'm 34yo and more uncomfortable around management when I go to meetings as a chef for a hotel owned by Harvard University. Not negating the people that died but I get the game, shits wild and I work hard so when I die some relative of mine will get all I worked for. As of now its my sister 13years younger than me, 100% of my assets go to her or her kids.

Not every crime is horrendous and surprisingly there are certain numbers of prisoners who found out to be innocent after release. Not to mention the suppression and tensions it builds is probably not a good idea to be present everywhere else in the world.

Dafk do you mean by "this is probably the worst prison for the worst committed crimes" ?!
THIS is the perfect prison for criminals.
THIS is how a prison should look like for anyone who is breaking the law. MAXIMUM SECURITY.
A prison is not a hotel where you can watch TV all day and play games or whatever some prisons have.

    • @nekonekoni.v

@@TheReDeeMeR1988 if your statement is for the worst possible crimes, I'd have no words to defend my claim. But just a reminder there are people who got jailed for absolutely ridiculous reasons. You can search up how dumshite some people were arrested for no good reasons.
While the prison shown in the video may appear effective, I don’t think all prisoners should be subjected to such harsh conditions. Jail is supposed to provide a primary focus on providing opportunities for rehabilitation rather than serving as a tool for vengeance. The severe consequences as somewhat depicted in this "worst" prison in the video might be appropriate for people who committed the heinous worst possible crimes and are unlikely to change when given opportunity. But the concept of "vengeance" itself is often perpetuates a cycle of crime and punishment without addressing the underlying issues. This doesn't mean the prisoners can enjoy all the privileged and premium lifestyles as you intend to mean, but disabling all the basic things like sport and removing their privacy can hinder their process to heal.

I can't believe I only discovered this channel a few months ago. The way you make documentaries in such a unique angle is hard to find. Many of these 'prison documentaries' don't really go that deep into the personalities of anyone, and just show a lot of riot and fighting. The theme of your documentaries is human connection and their perspectives, which is such a great way to storytell what's going on.

I am an Indian and I watched a documentary on President Bukele of El Salvador. All Thanks to 38-year-old President Bukele, the people of El Salvador are finally back on the streets, enjoying their lives without fear. He has achieved what leaders twice or even more than twice his age couldn't. The entire credit goes to him for cracking down on the world's most dangerous fugitives and putting them behind bars.
