Sorry about the delay; for sure, feel free. I'd appreciate a small credit mention somewhere but I certainly don't insist and no bad feelings if not; whatever works for you - enjoy!
QUICK ANSWER: FXHome Action Pro, HitFilm and some minor colour tweaks and final render in Adobe Premiere. -------------------- A combination of HitFilm, fxhome action pro and blender (blender wasn't used in production, just while following a tutorial on how to make a mortal kombat style scorpion VFX; doesn't sound related but it taught me some basics on chaining objects together, so these waves are actually modelled on chainlinks from a fence technically lol). This was a long time ago and probably missed some detail, but I've learned some new software (in advance so you know: primarily it will be DaVinci Resolve, which is amazing it's completely free of charge) so I'll be uploading a bunch of new content like this... I didn't expect 50k views but if people find this useful I'll make variations, different patterns, movements, colours etc... Thanks for asking.
@@360Fov Are you referring to the video on this page? I am seeing a twisting blue lined object with stationary particle effects. "Wave & Particles Background Video - Futuristic"... I am curious how this was made, but none of the software listed seems to do this. thanks.
