Delécluse Etude #2 -A Study in Rolls

Here is Jacques Delécluse Etude #2 from his well known book Twelve Studies for Snare Drum.
This etude is a really great study in rolls. The tempo which is quarter =100 makes the underlying pulse a toss up between 16th's and quintuplets.
After performing the etude with a metronome I discuss the complexities of this solo and explain how I approach these rolls.
I finish up with a performance of the etude without a metronome.
The drum I am using is a Pearl Philharmonic Special Edition maple 5"x 14" drum with gut, steel and cable snares.
I am using a calf head made by the Lefima company.
The drum is slightly muffled with a small piece of leather.
The sticks I am using are Leopardwood with a small barrel tip which I make.
