Hey Cristina Albu is a Romanian nail technician.In Romania we use gel (or poly gel but mostly gel NEVER acrylic). The shape it's called arrow ( "săgeata").
Also i love your videos and I'm really happy that u show the world Romanian nail techs (which in my opinion are the best) .
Ur not kidding Romanian nail techs can do some super crazy techniques thank h gir telling us the shapes name

Ok. Idk what happened. But, i grabbed my lunch, sat down, and i started watching this. my cat had gone up on the back of the couch to lay down and as soon as you started doing the nails it got her attention. Next thing i know she is full on watching you. THEN she moves down and sits in front of my ipad! (It was next to me on the couch) She was completely enthralled by this video for the first 15 mins!😂. She then laid down and put her head on the ipad and im on my phone now while we are listening to your next vid 🤣

My daughter has been watching her videos since she turned 2 and she’ll be 3 in July. I believe it’s Evie’s soothing voice. We watch her together when I’m doing her hair.

Same. I play the violin and teach other strings so no nails for me. It’s because string instruments need the tip of the skin near the nail to properly place on the strings to make sound. So many professional and beginners will cut their nails short due to intonation and proper technique.

I'm used to seeing the artistry in the application of the acrylic/polygel, with the filing refining the design. But here, there was so much artistry in the filing, HOLY COW! I can completely believe it took two hours to file those. And the finished look is INCREDIBLE. 👏👏👏😍😍😍

These are amazing. I've also never seen anybody use cuticle stick to manipulate acrigel and its genius! You can tell you really know your products. Also the intro makes me smile every time.

8:04 Totally understand! All that work to find the number of views are not as high as reviews would be totally discouraging. I don’t know exactly how the UA-cam algorithm works but your videos are always in my feed lately, which is great. I usually have to search to see if you have a new video. But the last 2 week they’re being recommended everywhere (like when you watch a random video, at the end yours will come up to ‘watch next’ much of the time. So that’s good news!
If you find the product reviews get more views, maybe you can do some mini reviews at the start of your recreation vids? Subject line starting with the review. Maybe that’ll help the algorithm? I don’t know. You of course would know better than me lol.

Evie, I finally decided to learn to use polygel so I bought the clear and sheer pink Patty Gel & brush. The service was excellent and arrived from TN to LA in two days!!! i was really nervous to try it but i watched some of your videos and tested it out: this is the easiest nail builder system i've ever used! I used the clear on top of medium coffin tips and it took me maybe 30 minutes to shape, cure, and buff all my nails! it was so much fun and i can't wait to keep practicing. thank you!!!

My favourite are the velvet nails. I met an older lady on the bus showing off her duochrome velvet nails! They were brown one way and bright blue the other. Stunning. I hope i see her again next week to ask where she got them done.

You did really good for your first time, congrats. In Romania, good nail techs, like Cristina, don't use acrylic (if acrylic brakes it will take your whole natural nail off), only gel or poly gel, and never tips (those plastic fake nails that you glue on), they only construct the nails. Those nails are for show, photos or maybe done for a contest, they're not for everyday use.
Love these - they put me in mind of like a "Razor Edge" nail... beauty - I am really learning that I need to get myself some real good product. Not only that, but I have learned my calling. I will be switching career's because I want to do what I LOVE & LOVE what I do kind of thing... Currently I work in healthcare, and I know that makes me sound awful, I do put my all into my work, but I just don't see myself doing what I do now, forever. It is time I move on as I always said if I fall out of love with what I do it is time to switch it up, well I have realized I love to make a difference in people's lives - that is what I love about my current career... This... this is putting all my loves together! Love this thank you so much for sharing all your videos it has been so helpful to me.

These are SO cool. I ordered some Patty gel today! Just the basics because I tried polygel once a couple of years ago, and it was a sticky mess. But because you've mentioned how it's grittier and less sticky, i feel like it's the right choice to use your product for my second attempt. I like how you're using it to grow your natural nails, so I want to give that a try. Also thanks for that 10% discount. It cuts that TN tax right down, girl! 😂
