- When Stephanie finally realizes that Brooke is saying she slept with Nick, she is furious. Ridge defends Brooke against Stephanie’s tirade and states that he has forgiven Brooke and wants Stephanie to do the same. Stephanie realizes the baby Brooke is carrying may not be Ridge’s. Brooke refuses to believe that Nick is her baby’s father and is certain the paternity test will prove her right. Meanwhile, Sally goes with Darla to Dr. Paxson’s office under the guise of an appointment, but is really there to do some undercover work. Sally sneaks into Dr. Paxson’s office and finds Brooke’s name in her appointment book for a paternity test. At the hospital, Bridget frantically waits for news on Deacon. Lt. Baker arrives and asks what happened at Deacon’s. Eric explains that the shooting was an accident. Lt. Baker warns Eric he may be facing charges. Bridget sees Mark coming out of surgery and asks how Deacon is. Mark says that Deacon is alive but he may be paralyzed from the waist down. Deacon is wheeled out and Bridget rushes to him trying to contain her emotion. Deacon tells her he must be on painkillers because he doesn’t feel a thing.

We all know that Brooke always expects everyone else to forgive her for her mistakes and missteps. But she herself is the greatest at judging others. What a hypocrite.
Brooke been "honest" for no other reason than she got caught by Sally...
That's why she told Ridge and it's def why she's telling Steph.
I agree that she only told Ridge now because of Sally.
I believe that she would have told him eventually because she kept telling Nick that she wanted Ridge to know.

Finally, back to normal. It was about tone that Stephanie isn't doubting herself anymore about how she feels about Brooke. Stephanie always had very good reasons to dislike Brooke and even after all Brooke has done and put her through, also despice her.
This is what Brooke gets for forcing Stephanie to accept that ridiculous marriage to Ridge.

@@lil_jon411It's really always the same lame attempts to neutralize Brooke's subterranean behavior with "but Taylor has." Taylor and Brooke are two completely different characters. Brooke is narcissistic and ruthless, Taylor is always concerned about the well-being of those close to her emotionally.
Eric really hates Deacon because he had a piece of Brooke 😂 Erweak would do anything for another chance at Brooke.
Then Eric should also be mad at Ridge, Thorne, nicky... Lol.
There isn't a man in his family who hasn't had a piece of Brooke.
Actually, he should be more friendly with Deacon as both he and Deacon are fathers to Brooke's kids and she left them both for Ridge.

Brooke wants credit for not cheating technically, because Ridge was presumed dead. Even though that's praiseworthy for the queen of cheap, it still is disrepectful to sleep with someone else right away, after 5 minutes of being widowed.
That’s bad enough, but with his brother of all people unprotected. That kind of thing doesn’t happen accidentally. Massimo is the only relative of ridge’s that she hasn’t “needed comfort” from.

well this was B&B from the beginning ,the feud between these two until Stephanie died and B&B wasn't the same.
Ridge: Brooke was extremely vulnerable that night. 🤣🤣🤣 The woman is ALWAYS vulnerable, whether she's sleeping with Eric, Thorne, Deacon, Nick or eventually Bill, less than 5 minutes after Katie gave him back the wedding ring. Brooke has some kind of miscommunication in her brain. Ridge is actually just as narcissistic as Brooke. It's completely disrespectful to ask his mother to forgive Brooke just because he's so stupid that he does it.
@@ahy4234 years later he eas flirting with Donna and years after that he was with Katie. Eric was engaged to Beth, and married 2 of her 3 daughters and had 2 children with 1 daughter. So he was engaged to the grandmother of his kids and his now wife was also his sister in law. Donna is their aunt and stepmother haha. I think that Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine, was inspired by this !

This is why Steph is my favorite character. She was the ONLY one who always saw her for what she truly is and hold her accountable for her actions. I hate how they ended up having her be a Hogan fan and had Brooke of all people with Steph during her last moments.

The show by this point only seems to care about Brooke’s new pregnancy, Deacon, and the Marones. It’s very sad when compared to the greater variety of storylines at the beginning of the year.
Darla’s pregnant, but the show doesn’t really care about that.

In my view, the end of episode promos from this era onwards weren't as exciting as those from the late 90s and early 2000s. You can tell that invested more in their promos back then.
