Honestly, some days they are heavy and some they aren't bad at all. But they are much less comfortable than my Sheridan that are a lot less chunky. Wear the chunky pair pretty much the whole day and I have a "house pair" that are super comfortable.
I have a pair of the Emerson and am looking at adding the Herbie into my collection as well. I think you've put it correctly that JMM sunglasses are heads above the competition especially when compared to most designer optical from Marcolin/Luxotica. What actually blew me away about them though is how much better they feel versus even Japanese handcrafted optical. I have a pair of buffalo horn from Japan and even they feel cheep in comparison.
Hey, which place do you go for the lenses in chicago? i live here too and i just bought some devauxs and dealans and i need to add some RX to them and i have no idea where to go locally that would do JMMs
These look great, congrats! Btw, how do you photograph your eyewear? My iPhone camera never does JMMs justice. My Agar frame for instance, looks much darker on camera than it does in real life, and a lot of the details are lost.
I have three pairs of Jacques Marie Mage. My Enzos are my favorite. They are amazing. And I will never ever sell them, saying so because they are well in demand on the after market.
are these different than the Havana 5? I'm between them and the Zephirin 47 (Havana 6) at the moment... but trying to get an actual feel for the color is tough online!
I believe mine are the Havana 5, I don’t think there’s much of a difference between the 5 and the 6. They just do limited runs so they need to call it something else. Regarding the pair you want. 47mm is pretty small. If you check my glasses collection video. I have a pair of the regular size in the Havana.
Love the glasses and your video. I’m looking to invest in my first pair and was thrilled to hear insurance may cover part of it. Brilliant.
PS the transition lenses are fabulous.
Thank you!! Make sure you go to a pace that will cover it! have fun!
Love this on you! I got Ichikawa, Schindler, Kobo, and two upcoming new ones. Are your transitions Gen 8 Emerald or Xtra-active Green Mirror?
They are the emerald. Love the color look like the vintage g30 lenses. Check out my collection in one of the other videos! Appreciate the love
Awesome specs! I always wanted to get transition lens, but do they give you headaches? (my friend said he gets headaches)
I haven’t had a problem with headaches. This is probably my 4th or 5 pair of transitions. I love them. It might be the color your friend
Is choosing
@@JamesHerlihy Gotcha! Thanks so much for replying!
i like the chunky style but i assume they should be very heavy, is the weight an issue with everyday wear? is it tiring to wear it for a whole day?

They look really good on you especially when the lenses turn dark. I recently bought a pair of Molino with transitions lenses and I love them.
Congratulations! I’m in love with JMM

That’s good to know. It’s crazy how good the quality it for money. At least compared to other brands.
Did you get your perscription in these ?
I did. They are pretty cool about it. I kept the sun lenses, to put in when I'm done
Wheres Waldo?

@@JamesHerlihy my current pair is
49-21-140. think the 2mm will make a noticeable difference?
I’m sorry I miss spoke. I thought the 47 there the smaller ones. These will be fine. The smaller ones are 44.
Would love to see a review of the Zephirins 😊
