The Lallantop team reached Nagaland to cover upcoming elections on 27th February. Saurabh Dwivedi visited a college hostel and talks with students staying there. Many students who have visited the Northern part of India tell about the problems faced by them. Why do people of Northern India think that Naga people can eat humans? What are the other misconceptions about the people of Nagaland, we will talk about them in this video.

I'm from Nagaland and I must say that the interviewer did a very good job in connecting with the students and making the students open up more. Naga people are very shy to open up in front of camera especially because people speak Nagamese in general and so speaking in English or hindi fluently has always been an issue but seeing the interviewer positively push the students to speak and put the message out to the viewers is much appreciated.

One of the best episodes of Lallantop. Kudos to Sourav ji for visiting Nagaland and interacting with the youngsters of the state. All of them seemed so shy and simple but happy and fun loving. We need more such programme from main stream media to promote unity and integrity amongst all Indians particularly to bring awareness about the culture ,customs and traditions of Nagaland and other states of the Northeast. We are proud of our Naga and other north east brothers and sisters. It is unfortunate that there are quite a few ignorant in New Delhi and other regions that create a false stereotype image of our North East cousins. We as a citizens need to make an effort to understand other cultures and it will help if regular student compulsary exchange programs of 2 weeks are setup at school level. This will make a huge difference.
Iam from uttarakhand! I love north-eastern people! In my fine arts collage delhi there are some students from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.they are really kind and disciplined people! Also they are so dedicated towards their work!
