I have a feeling, sadly, that as inept as Iowa's offense is, their defense will certainly keep them close next Saturday. Maryland's defense, well -- it ain't great -- and we REALLY struggled at times out there. I agree, we really need Edwards back ASAP. By the way, Henning (whom I refer to as Best Value Edwards) was completely MIA against Maryland.

People don’t want to talk about it, but Michigan came into this game untested. Maryland is underrated this year and gave us everything they had. Neither side played poorly or made mistakes, (except for that first kickoff lol). Happy with the win, solid B+.
Oh we played terrible. Missed a fg, coaches putting untested freshman back in to fumble on his first carry, that stupid wr pass option to bell that killed a drive. And mccarthy missed like 3 open deep balls that woulda been tds or in fg range. Maryland made some mistakes too but we score anywhere from 9-24 more points if we didn’t make mistakes
Honestly, not a bad game for Mich. Maryland came in knowing this was their first shot at legitimacy and gave Mich everything they had because of it. They're also alot better than they usually are. If this game were played in November, I have a feeling Maryland would've been ranked. Maybe even top 17.
Michigan didn't play it's best but give Maryland some credit, Terps played a good game and went toe to toe with the Wolverines... Maryland has a good thing going on there right now , I like this Maryland team and wish them success the rest of the way ... now let's get ready for Indiana GoBlue!!!
I’d just go six man protection, let JJ and the wideouts create some rhythm. Most of this conference can’t stick with us and JJ can make any throw, he just needs to take the easy throws early and use his legs a few times a game. Those last few drives(minus the almost interception by the end zone) were fantastic. We let JJ get settled and make a few easy throws, he throws such a beautiful ball btw. He’s talented, we just need to make it easy on him, give him the protection and let him disperse and I don’t see how anyone other than Ohio can stop that.
It happened. Turnovers are part of the game. And they capitalized on it. Not a great game by Michigan. Defense looked horrible. Better improve on that or they their gonna lose 3-4 games.

They desperately need Edwards back. After Stokes fumbled Corum carried over 30 times.

This game is exactly what Michigan needed now they know what they have the fix it will take a couple of games to get it fixed but they'll be all right

D line looked very flimsy...O line has made huge strides however. defense better clean it up or Iowa will run all over them
