Aww bummer. We had a few failed attempts getting up there. Weather, snow, etc. You just never know what the mountain is going do sometimes. Better luck next time 🙌
Really enjoyed this one. I attempted Flattop/Hallett in 2020, but wasn't prepared enough. I had to turn around at Dream Lake Overlook. I posted my video from that day. I got to meet Nick Sangetta during that hike. I was on my way up as he was on his way down. My hope is to attempt it again this Summer.
Well I am sure you will get up there. You never know when those summer storm clouds or crazy wind is going to sneak up on ya. At the same time that’s all part of the fun! Happy trails 😁
not always. But they’re pretty good on hikes. hiking in beautiful locations with challenging hikes builds character. They learn how to overcome fears and test new boundaries while respecting the mountains. Everything else falls into place.
Excellent video! I moved to CO from Florida in May. I just got my RMNP Annual Pass. I have only been once and the weather was not cooperating. 😆 I can't wait to do this hike!
I am so jealous you live in CO! We are on the east coast but travel to RMNP many times a year. I am flying out today and planning to do this hike on Sunday morning going for Hallett Peak this time!
Since I don't have the beach anymore, the mountains have become my "Happy Place". Dang! I was hoping y'all lived here so I might run into you on the trails.😆 Lol! Safe travels!
These kids are amazing!
Thanks 😊
Wow! That is awesome! So neat and wonderful that young kids are doing it! So nice to see

If you don't climb the mountain, you can't see the view :-)
I can’t wait. We’re doing this hike on Sunday’
Awesome! How did it go? Did you get up there?
@@travelfamilyadventures It was super windy and the snow was very slushy so we turned back a mile from the top.

@@northsidediva6465 well, we do have a house in Estes Park so RMNP is like our backyard when we are in town. If you ever see us definitely say hello 😀
What GPS app/phone app are you using for tracking your hike?
I am an AllTrails junkie. Love that app!
