I have been read by John Edwards. He is absolutely the real deal. He knew specific details that no one could have known at all. Specific names even. My sister who was a skeptic became a believer that day. It was a phenomenal experience and I will never forget it.
It’s a trick. He guesses and makes right guesses from time to time. He starts out very vague and then works his way to more specific guessing. It’s called cold reading. Sorry he used your feelings against you. This man has no shame.
I'm telling you he had specific names, exact details of stuff that happened, things that no one would know. You can believe it or not. I know the ones that are real. I have had things happen to me all my life and have had friends call me weird because of the things that happen to me or I know when things are going to happen. It runs in my family.
Marianne Hudson it’s a really twisted thing what he does. You actually provide all the information you need. It’s psychology. It goes along with the concept of a self fulfilling prophecy. He says very general things and you take it as very personal because it applies to you. In fact, it applies to almost everyone. They are trained to get feedback on your non verbal cues. And they go deeper once they get a hit. We are not as unique as we may think. So many generalizations apply. We also tend to forget the wrong guesses and remember the right ones. It’s all a trick.

I had the fortunate experience to sit with John before he became real big at his house in Huntington at the time. I had also sat with George Anderson before John. George is real good but John blew me away. Not only was he spot on he was just a real nice guy. I also connected with him on a radio show as a call in and I had no idea he was on as a guest. He is like a machine gun! Hit after hit after hit. I can't understand after sitting with him how anyone can be a skeptic.
John is a very brave individual, he is intelligent caring,, empathic, fearless, kind, , his background interesting speaks body and soul, it I am interested about people I have lost , it's comforting, Thank John keep up the good work ,bless you and your wife and children, Anne Marie
I, too, was informed about myself from a talented psychic. More than therapy, she put my dreams into perspective. I didn't wish or dream Mother dead. The child didn't understand. I am A Roman Catholic and we're not meant to believe in this stuff. John is also Catholic and prays the Rosary before and after each reading. I believe John Edward is the real deal. He's the only psychic I've ever heard arguing with the people he's giving information to and he always gets validation that he was spot on once the people talk to their family members sometimes while on the phone during the reading for us viewers while we're watching. This video validates everything I know and love about the "out there". Just today I picked up this book and started reading. Then I come across this video. I'm just saying, I am meant to read this book, and John Edwards is a very talented person.
John Edward is truly amazing. He blesses so many people by hearing from their loved ones passed over. My husband and I watch his "Crossing over" shows and he truly has a gift. I would love to hav a reading done by hime one day. We Love you John Edward!!

I'm Catholic and, therefore, a Christian, and I have no problem with accepting this. I had contact with my Guardian Angel in my 20's after my car wiped out into a snowbank after a blizzard. Also, I feel I was physically touched and contacted by my mother the day after she died. We were very close. I was sound asleep at around 3 AM and I distinctly felt someone touch my shoulder, there was no one else in the room with me. A couple of years ago, out of the blue, I thought of a family friend who we hadn't seen in years, the very next day I heard he had passed away in a car accident the previous day. Certain thoughts will pop into my head at times, and other times it's more a feeling that will come over me. I equate it to more as in Star Wars, The Force, being with you. I think you have to be open and receptive to it. I'm also very empathic, I pick up on people's moods and feelings easily. My dad has a lot of friends who are passing away, and I take him to the funerals. The survivors start sobbing, and then I start sobbing. And in a lot of these cases I didn't even know the people who died. It's very depressing and draining to take on other peoples pains. I saw for myself how my mother was prophetic, things she would say had a habit of coming true, about 98% of the time. These types of people existed in BIBLICAL times, so why wouldn't they exist NOW???

I have just started watching John Edwards on the tv over here in the UK We have a new series of Cross Country and I am fascinated by how real John is I have always been a tad sceptical of "mediums" but John has me enthralled time after time !!!
Which is why I I have and feel the way I feel. Because I see this stuff firsthand, and work with a psychic medium who is the sweetest, most amazing human being I know. You can have whatever opinion you want about the paranormal. But you don't have to be rude. I guess you really don't understand until you've witnessed something truly unexplanable firsthand (yes, we do actively TRY to debunk every piece of evidence). The show's host even says, this is our evidence, you can believe what you want.

Psych hospital psychics ... One of the saddest people I ever encountered… When I was a student nurse in my psych rotation. The patient I was assigned was clearly very intuitive and psychic. He was there because voices were speaking to him and telling him to do bad things, which he did do... He told me how her years he tried to fight it, fight following the voices.
One day he and I were playing bingo in the day room. Again he told his story. He was so sad that the psych doctors were telling him the voices were not real. He said to me, but sometimes they tell me things like this… Then he told me what letter and number was going to come out of the container with the possible Letter and number to play. He was seated at a table that was lower than our knees everything was visible. He was wearing short sleeves. He turned one palm up and open and did not move it the other hand held a little shaker box with the answers in it … He turned it over… Out came the letter and number that he had told me the “voices” Had told him was going to come out.
He was one of the saddest people I have ever met.
And he did become violent sometimes where it took two or three people to control him physically.
He broke my heart. If somebody had recognized what was going on very early in the process, maybe he could’ve been helped. Maybe.
I am absolutely amazed at the fear that is expressed here. John Edward is opening up an amazing portal for you all to see, yet you choose to remain blind. So sorry for you!!! (and is "douche" the only word you all know???)

It's a South Park reference. I was always skeptical of psychic ability. Many people are scammed. But all it takes is one experience where a stranger knows things, details, there's no way they could know...it's amazing.

John Edward always does better than guessing, which is one of the things that has made him one of the most popular mediums in the US. He asks questions to verify if he is on track with the client. He speaks to the dead every day, as do all mediums. It is real. Denial does not change that..

I grant you that there are some out there who do use that tactic but Edwards does not and he is very very specific and tells his listeners facts including places and dates that he could not have first hand knowledge of by prior research or by cold reading.
I am very sceptical of mediums but with Edwards he has shown that he can produce the definitive facts time and time again I would suggest you take a look at some of Edwards's readings then tell me then it is cold reading.
Those tests have already been given, at U of A, and for the TV programs. What kind of tests would you administer? John does not do cold readings, he does psychic readings. He gets his info directly, you would have to fish for yours.

The problem with these kinds of tests is that you are dealing with a situation that does not lend itself to physical testing. It is in the range of parapsychology. It is like trying to determine intelligence by examining brain tissue under a microscope. How do you test the non-physical with physical equipment? Tests were done at U of Arizona. Also, psychics have been tested in UK, USA, and AU, from which TV programs were produced. Also see reports of Psychical Research Societies in the US & UK

You did not say if you had asked any of his clients. People buy his books because they want to know more about the afterlife. He does not deal exclusively with grief-stricken people. His audience has a wide range of situations he deals with.

There are two kinds of people in this world people who Focus inwards on their inner higher self and people who focus on the outer ego materialistic self inner self is about love care and selflessness but ego and materialism is about self absorption in a selfish greedy way and they don't find inner peace because they are constantly chasing and trying to make more money and buy better things and upgrades which gives them a temporary hi or temporary happiness which is short-lived then they need to feed this addiction by making more money or buying new clothes shoes putting more make-up on and focusing on their self outer appearance rather than their inner sole self. If you're about money and material things then you can have all the money in the world and you will never be happy but if you're in touch with your inner higher spiritual self then you have a deep appreciation gratitude a deeper understanding compassion and you're fuelled by love and you have this deep inner peace and a simple way of living and the simple things make you happy and you don't need anything else to make you happy because that happiness is they're inside you which you have found but the ego materialistic Money People haven't found that inner soul peace that true happiness that simplicity so they look and keep looking on the outside which makes them judgemental and hypocrites and they value a person by they're outside appearances and what they own or don't own what car they drive what job they have how much money do they have in the bank and these people value another human soul based on these things which creates a judgmental attitude for the rest of their physical lives. Then once they make their mind up about you based on these things then they don't see you as any different they don't value you and they think they're better than you and walk all over you. They think they are high and mighty and more worthy and deserving than us but they are only looking at life through the physical lens from my outward material lenses or point of view. If you're not on their level and don't have the same things of their value then you're nothing to them which is why rich people are the way they are and they don't get along with poor people and don't want be seen around poor people because they're worried about what their rich friends think and they're worried about judgement by their own friends and family who are in their circle of society. there is a lot of different kinds of fear in this world and even the rich people have this fear of being judged and ridiculed by their own friends and family who are also materialistic. For those people it's all about appearances and maintaining their appearances and they are rich because they tread on and or rip off the poor people. Money in the wrong hands with the wrong intentions is used for evil purposes . When people value another person or Life by monetary value then they will do anything for money because it rules them and it gives them their sense of value

I have been around this stuff far too long to question it in general. I can tell from listening to a medium/psychic if they are 'hitting', or are having a dry spell and BSing their way thru. Sort of like radio reception used to be, sometimes clear, sometimes static.
I wonder why the messages from the "other side", are always positive. I wonder why you never hear about some medium somewhere, working a low paying job, but help people for FREE, because they would never take advantage of their "god given" gift. You make no serious sense. Just because John Edward has been given a spiritual talent does not mean he is exploiting people who are in grief. If he were really seeing it, he should be able to say, "Your husband is Roger and he died fighting a fire." Instead, he says, "I feel like he died doing something he doesn't normally do and there is someone involved whose name starts with the letter R." It is so vague, that you could turn it into anything.

If one believes in the afterlife, like a religious person, sensing souls passed on should be no surprise. How the ability was derived, used or seeked out may make a difference though.
It's not denial, you just didn't prove any evidence. When you make extraordinary claims like that, you need evidence. Unfortunately, you have none. He doesn't ask questions to verify. He just asks questions. You seem to be unfamiliar with cold reading techniques. Show me one video where he does better than chance alone. I've watched a lot of his readings and he never scores better than someone guessing. I'll go through a video point by point if you want me to. I'm waiting for your proof.

i'm just wondering, have you ever given it serious consideration that it might be fake, or do you just automatically reject that idea? like have you ever sat down and watched it with an open mind and said, "ok, everyone says this is a trick, let's pretend that it is. I will listen to everything he says and see if it is at least possible that he is just guessing and BSing his way through it and not actually talking to the dead." Why not watch this video again and give it an honest chance?
I just want to know why 95% of names are J and M? Also most passings are by aneurysm or brain cancer. I absolutely want to believe. In fact, I actually wanted to have John do a reading for me when I lost my Dad. I still do.
Your dad can still sense or hear or feel you..he checks up on you... just talk to him :) close your eyes and think of him..and things you did together good memories etc. Use those happy thoughts in your head to feel or sense him..to connect to him :) Then say hi to him..in your head..like a conversation you might have with yourself in your head..thoughts etc... ya know kinda like when youre thinking or talking to yourself... but think of your dad...close your eyes..do this and picture him..then say hi and tell him what you want to say to him..he will hear you..or feel you and what youre saying. And itll help you also :) Not to be weird or tell you what to do..just trying to help...even though we cant see someone anymore and they arent here in life any longer..they still are around us and can hear you... I do see and feel things kinda like john..im not as good as him.but ive known things etc and helped a few people..i just felt it in my heart to say something to you and try to help..itll make you feel better to talk to your dad..or just think of him..maybe youll feel something or get something back from your dad..a message or feeling etc... you might see an image in your head while talking to your dad..a flash..a thought..a picture of something only you and your dad or family might know..or see something about you growing up or being a kid..or something youve shared together in life... if you recieve something like this..its your dads way of showing you its him..and hes ok and still around you :) i hope it helps alittle...I just had something kinda the same happen to me with my girlfriend..i was getting images and names etc thoughts about someone..i knew it was my girlfriends grandmother..i told her what i saw and felt..and i explained things i was seeing..and my Girfriend started crying..i described things in her grandmother house and things from my girlfriends childhood with her grandma that i had no way to knowing of or about these things. I felt to myself..and told her ..that it was her grandma showing her through me..that shes ok on the other side..and shes doing fine :) sorry to bother you..i just felt i had to say something to you and tell you he (your dad) can hear you :) goodluck..dont be sad..youll see him again :)
Do you know why John Edward does better than guessing? Because he is asking such general questions that it is hard to be wrong. If he said, "I am getting that your grandfather's name was Paul, and he lived in a nursing home in Pennsylvania. He is telling me about the incident when his friend John stabbed him. Do you remember that?" Now that would be impressive. Saying "I think there is someone involved whose name begins with R. Does that make sense?" is not even remotely impressive.

In regards to things, that people do not understand in trying to help people. Raise money. Etc. The judgements are not understood and cannot say who what where when how why etc and people's information is a private.

I also have found I have psychic ability....I don’t think religion should come into this....if your a true Christian you shouldn’t get cremated( you should be ready to rise for resurrection, and be a body, not scattered ashes!
