I LOVE POTATOES!!! I wish that someone would provide me a flight out, 3-4 potatoes a day (or more, if I get the chance), and a bed, just to help with harvest! I swear to GOD, I’d be out there in a minute if I could (I also do meal prep and baking if you fancy)! #ILovePotatoesAndPEI
I miss the potatoes from Maritimes so bad after moving from Halifax to Calgary. I will try to see if I can find any in the city. By the way, RMR is always my #1 favorite show!
@SpitFir3Tornado those potatoes dont actually come from cavendish, they are grown all over prince edward island. the company is just called cavendish farms, they are located in kengsinton. i used to work there.
@Canuck4Truth I would to but TECHNICALLY in our government you don't vote for the leader, you vote for your party and the MPs in the party elect the leader. Jus sayin.
Look out trailer park boys. Here come the "potato field boys".So, we know Ricky. Which one is Bubbles and which ones Julian?He-He.Just kidding Lads.Good to see some air time of the hard working east coasters. Git-M-Dug
Harvesting potatoes was shot in two (2) different locations----the field of potatoes was shot in Cape Traverse, the other segment was shot at Mid Isle Farms in Albany. My grandfather use to own the land where they show the cultivation of the potatoes. Every once in a while you can see my grandparents fwrm house. You can also see the Cape Traverse United Church. Mid Isle Farms is owned by a group of farmers. Google Mid Isle Farms and you can read all about its opertaions.
@@johnpalmer4425 My Maternal Grandparents were Louis (Lewis) and Annie Muttart. They lived in the house across from the Cape Traverse United Church. My grandparents sold the Farm to Wallace Muttart in 1949 when they moved to Bedeque. They moved to Toronto in 1965. I believe my Mother is a second cousin to Wallace and his brothers and sisters. At about six (6) seconds you can see the house that Wallace built and moved into after he moved out of the farm house
@@TSuave Actually the harvesting was Borden-Carleton and Cape Traverse (one end of the field it in Borden-Carleton, the far end in Cape Traverse) That field is out front of my parents house and the field actually belongs to my uncles (Well an uncle and a cousin now, back then 2 uncles). Websters were renting the field that year. The processing, bagging and storage was in Albany.
@Unstbecsta actually no the MPs don't elect the leader the members of the party do. I have never been a MP but have voted for the past three conservative leaders.
