I wouldn't call zip tieing the lid switch a hack. It holds better than the darn adhesive/glue the manufacturers use. The switch itself was in working order!
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro very true story lol I ca my remember being stuck there for hours hunting down leaks just to find out that it’s the old hot water line coming off the circulating pump in between the 8th and 9th floor😂😂🤣

He just removed the washer switch and zipped a zip tie to the button on the door switch
