To note: Germans have been displaced from all German territories attributed to Poland and Czechoslovakia. The majority of individual export permits - 185 out of 218 - granted after Oct 7. Just for "training"? It sounds ridiculous. But even if it were true, it actually doesn't make it better. I have never heard of an arms dealer prosecution at the ICC, and for that to happen over sales validated by the german government is a highly unreasonable expectation. and the ICC is already unofficially refusing to do anything about i-country, and has only ever convicted africans plus one or two exceptions of white people from europe's eastern bloc. the ICC has the advantage of actially being a court over the ICJ (which in reality is merwly the UNSC's legal advisory committee), but its track record is very strikingly one of white supr°°acy enforcement within the broader american empire project (of course america rejects its authority entirely when it comes to america itself).

Also, Germany continues to block its financial support for UNRWA. Amazingly, it cut off the money one day after Isreal claimed without evidence that 12 UNRWA workers allegedly took part in the military raid on 7 October, that is leading to widespread famine and the collapse of the medical system inside Gaza. Yet when there is pretty darn good proof that Israel is comitting war crimes, and Israeli government officials and high ranking members of the IOF (Israeli Occupation Force) are calling for the extermination of the Palestinians, not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Germany does not hold back any funding or political or diplomatic support.
I am German, and I do not approve Germany's behavior. The whole German government, collectively and individually, must be held accountable. Persons can be prosecuted in the International Crimminal Court. Under "univeral jurisdiction" any country can arrest and try members of the German government for example on charges of violations of human rights of the Palestinians. This also applies to members of the UK and US governments as well.

I'd second that as a german myself. Newsreporting is a big problem as well, since everything is sourced from Israeli intel. The situation is changing though and the more politically educated portion of the population is starting to speak out against the injustice. It's a different way of thinking. For most European governments October 7 was a terror attack and therefore Hamas and other militant groups are seen as terrorists and not as resistance fighters. Neither did he paint the Palestinians as the "bad guy".
