True, my friends always make fun of me cz I am not good at taking care any households due to my parents' separations and I had to live alone since I was 15yrs old. I wish the society can understand us, but they only know how to make fun of us. Because of this reason, I am scared of getting married until now. I wish the society can be as considerate as you and understand that we are also working hard to take care of ourselves and keep on living eventho not as perfect as those who live with their complete family because we don't have choice.
