My father will accept every prayers from anyone who performs it with pure devotion. Pure devotion is essential nothing else. I am an ardent devotee of my father Lord Shiva. Once I ate non veg in the afternoon forgetting that I need to attend Pradosham. As soon as I realized I directly took a bath brushed my teeth. Directly headed to the temple and seeked forgiveness from my father and I attend. What is essential I'd pure devotion towards my Dad.
Even with minor mistakes it's nice abhishekam. One should perform the Puja what they can afford. It's not installed shivalinga and it's below the size of finger. so minor mistakes by innocence during Pooja will be over ride by God when you ask apologies at the end of pooja(I.e mantra heenam kriya heenam etc) . One should have bhakti towards God(bhakti heenam is not good) and show gratitude what we are enjoying at present and don't ask for God. He will give what you need not what you want.
If you are female then don’t pour any sindoor or haldi or anything which is related to Suhag(Husband) ...Otherwise you are putting your husband life in danger..plz follow it and rest are good

Bhai never use a steel spoon... It will negate your Abhishek... And use either silver, tamba or earthen ware...
Do not use steel spoon & not applying sindoor on Siva linga.
This aabhishek is not exactly rudra abhishek it's too short and last ki line Kat gaii hai iski it's not full

Do not offer tourmaric ..it's not allowed in shivling pooja

Humble suggestion is.. Each offering of abhishekam first to Nandi bagawan.. Then to Lord Shiva
