The explanation and the correct way of doing dead lift with bands. I tried it. This humble me. I been working out for years and never too proud to learn different things. Thanks 👍.
Great video - I have a bunch of clench bands. They were my first purchase during the early days of the pandemic. Excellent cue on engaging the lats and going straight up and down. For an added bonus combine the bands with a barbell 😂
Thanks for being a clench customer, we appreciate you! Glad you picked up on engaging the lats, I learned this cue from world class powerlifter Matt Wenning, it is a crucial step in this lift for sure!
We are definitely considering it! What would you want to see for specific features, and price point? We recently polled our customers and about 10% of responses suggested gloves.
@@ClenchFitness good afternoon. Would love to see gloves that are designed to target the specific areas where bands cause friction against the hands. So it would be a glove that has extra padding / stiffer materials in the areas that hold the most resistance such the outside areas of the palms. Also may want to have either full finger gloves or open fingered gloves that are a bit longer down the finger for protection as well as incorporating a velcro wrap for the wrist. I use your bands and handles all the time however there are times and or exercises that I don't use the handles and use only my hands so the gloves would be great. I would pay up to $50 for a good pair and would prefer to support your business as I love your products
Excellent video! But I am on the 5-15LB Orange bands for this!.....LOL JK as for which method I prefer, it is the bands! No longer going to the gym because I can do all my exercise with the bands! KEEP ON ROCKING!
Great question! The wide stance in this exercise allows you to get closer to the bar or band during the exercise to give you more leverage. This change also targets more of the glutes and hamstrings, which are typically weaker muscle groups, which will allow you to build up those weak points. It also reduces the stress placed on the low back.
Great answer. Yes, if you don't have heavy weights at home it's good to do this exercise. I do it at home (with two bands (orange and a thin red one) and once a week I go to the gym for the barbell. @@ClenchFitness
One of the best dead lift band workout I ever came across.

Yes great bands. Thank for the demo. I recently injured my back deadlifting with the bar. Now I shall use my bands
@@seshat99 Sorry to hear about your injury. Glad to hear the bands are helpful in your recovery! Thanks!
Bands, wide stance, with shins facing out, rotate shoulders & engage the lats and straight up, another great tip. Thanks Brandon!!
You got it! Thank you for watching!

Thanks Pete!

This is a great video and demonstration. Now all I need to do is save this and get the bands.
You bet, thanks for watching! Head over to www.clenchfitness.com for bands!
I did yesterday but I am not clear on which ones I should get. For the moment I’m assuming the thick one used in the video is probably it?
Is it possible to do this exercise with the Clench footplate?
We haven't found a way to set up sumo squats on the footplate because of the wide foot position. If you find a solution, let us know!
Good form, something rare on youtube. Well done!
Have you guys thought about designing gloves for resistance band workouts? I would be the first to purchase for sure

great request MAZOL
When are the footplates coming in for pre-orders?
They have arrived to our facility, we are currently sorting through them and shipping them.
Can’t really do DLs anymore due to back issues, but between these and trap style DLs w/ the handles, it’s all good
Glad these exercises help you to be able to perform DL's!
This lift, if done perfectly (with perfect form) is extremely safe for the lower back. You use mainly legs, glutes and lats.
BANDS!
Nice! We like using the bands too! It’s nice to have both options!
I see space for both, but for my regular use, BANDS in the garage gym
You bet!
😄 best comment award!

What is the point of this vs a regular deadlift

Band, but then I don't have bars.
Definitely worth trying both, but bands are still a great choice.
