Man so cool. Yes I have thought this for years. This is a perfect Bond song. Yeah there’s two well known songs I always put on my Bond songs playlist. This one aaaand “Live to Tell” Madonna. “Live to Tell” even had the title spot. But it was wasted on a TERRIBLE movie “At Close Range”. Ma got her chance later for a Bond song. Paula never did of course. But this one is perfect. Bond all the way. 👍
Yeah definitely has the Moore Era Bond theme song vibe ....good pick ..you should check out the late Phyllis Hyman's "Never Say Never Again" ...the rejected theme for the 83 Connery Bond movie of the same name ...seriously Hyman's rejected theme would have been THE only good thing about that film .. and should have maybe been used for Moore's last Bond outing as end credits song.
I'm listening to Hyman's version now. Wow. You're right. This song is so much better than the one they went with and has the feel of Bond song. What were they thinking going with that other one???
It fits sooo well :)
Oh wow. Fantastic

"Spellbound" was the 2nd Album by Paul Abdul from 1991 Via Universal Music Group.
When I first heard this I thought it was a definite Bond theme. Very John Barry-ish orchestration.
