Amazing, enlightening book! Thank you, Kristin, for honoring these women and illuminating a war and aftermath that I have never understood (being a little girl then). I read this 464 page book in two days - I could not put it down!

Honestly, a book I have not been able to put down since I picked it up.
Times I've cried - I just have not stopped...
Beautifully written, fascinating and moving story, and so happy to say it is my first 5 star of this year so far. If I could rate it 6 our of 5, I would.
100% recommend for anyone.
